I come back a year later to share my experiences. First off, I tried destroying the western base same as you but focusing on the farms with the mines (that took 10 mines total). The eastern base was very difficult to get through tho, since between Blizzard and the Sorceresses polymorphing my big units I was basically stuck at the entrance while everything died. Rewatching your video I see you also struggled, albeit not to the same extent since you had the forethought to Mana Burn the Sorceresses. I also used Aboms which tbqh suck in the vanilla campaign, they take too much damage from ranged attacks and are too slow without Unholy Frenzy. Then I decided to see if I could use the mines on the blue base instead, and the results were much more promising. Again it only takes 10 mines to supply block them completely, and not having to deal with the large blue waves is as much helpful when defending as getting rid of the Steam Tanks from the western base. I then attacked to the left but decided on a pincer attack, taking Arthas and Meat Wagons/Necros in a Zeppelin while all my other units charged from the front-not A clicking since they're dumb and get stuck trying to hit the towers. Arthas can use the two mines to destroy some farms but more importantly kill the defending Knights and the Archmage, easily done since they try to blow up the mines with the Cannon Towers and Gyros. Then comes the fun when the Necros start raising Skellies from the Meat Wagons, which between Master training and Brilliance Aura from Khadgar's Pipe of Insight (definitely better here than the Sobi Mask) basically means unlimited Skellies as long as there are bodies. You'll prolly lose most of your Hellhounds and Crypt Fiends in the process but as long as you don't let your Wagons die you should win easily. For the last base I took a more thought out approach because I figured that it'd be pretty hard to get through just as the blue one. I took Arthas and some Crypt Fiends on a Zeppelin and went to the back of the base to get the hidden chest, where the Medallion of Courage but also the Scepter of Mastery which allows you to steal three units. Add a couple Banshees to Possess and you can basically take over half of their defending force. Sadly I'd idled too long so I couldn't finish the whole base like you did, just the Castle and some other buildings, but it was definitely doable. This was the only base I used Wyrms for, which makes sense since I wasn't gonna send them against Gyros lol. To summarize: - mines for the eastern base, destroy the Castle and the Farms with just Arthas to supply block them (I had both the Ring of Regen and the Health Stone for good recovery but he's still gonna take a lot of damage) - Crypt Fiends, Hellhounds, Necros, and Meat Wagons plus the two remaining mines for the western base (and Pipe of Insight for infinite Skellies™) - Same comp + Frost Wyrms, Infernals, and Banshees as well as the Scepter of Mastery for mind control There's probably a better comp but even a mediocre player like me can win with this so yeah. EDIT: I tried again and managed to win with two minutes remaining (and could screen capture right before the last building fell and the timer dropped to 00:05), the biggest change was that I went to get the Scepter of Mastery with Arthas and my surviving Hellhounds while I was still destroying the western base, which allowed me to assault the final base right when the Infernals came down. I even managed to beat the Gnolls in the bottom right corner, something I'd never done-it's worthless, you just get a Scroll of Healing. Very proud that my method worked when I suck at the game.

This is great! You are very skilled! Just a suggestion: In the prologue campaign's last mission which is called "countdown to extinction" and is part of TFT (to be found under custom campaigns menu) you have to defend against murlocs, golems, a murloc sorcerer hero and a sea witch hero for 30 minutes with orcs. I really would like to see how you destroy the 3 murloc bases in this mission. It may sound easy because murlocs are weaker than humans but actually I think its harder than this because you have only tier 1/2 units, no wyvens or tauren. But might you try it? Would love to see someone destroying the enemy bases in this mission. And you are one of the few people who might be able to pull that off.

I tried to destroy one of the Murloc bases, but couldn't do it fast enough before the next wave of Siege Golems arrived. Your best bet is a lot of fully upgraded Grunts and Raiders backed up by Master Casters.

Spectre Oh ok I see, thx for trying and coming back to us. I guess its pretty much impossible as there are 4 bases and the time limit is 20 minutes (not 30) which makes it even harder... The constant waves siege golems were also a pain in the ass... I think the best I could do also was destroying one base. I have sold all my Warcraft copies finally (from 1 to 3 with all expansions). Will focus on PS/Xbox ;)

Siege Golems are indeed a pain. You stop them the same way Orcs deal with tanks. Ensnare before they reach your buildings. Fully upgraded grunts easily cut through the Murlocs because they have Medium armor. There's a Crown of Kings hidden in a tent behind trees Southwest position.

NIIIIICE! I did this third try in reforged but instead of attacking them all I did almost the same technic but I build bases around Kel'Thuzad and towers where there were Both Spiders and Necromancers and then I made one banshee to make Kel'Thuzad invisible when there were 1 min and 20 seconds left and it worked PERFECTLY! :D

Lol, I only managed to destroy one and 1/5 of a base on hard, but this is awesome. The easiest way to get through this is by destroying workshop and town hall in the right base, and then the 3 workshops in the left base. the enemies will just lose all troops on towers

I only managed to neutralize(destroying just the unit producing buildings) ,not eradicate, the western (close) base on my first try. I managed to completely destroy 2 bases (western and eastern) on my second run. I didnt have time for the 3rd/northern base, however, it was easier to defend against the final attack wave due to it being sent from 1 base.

So after watching this video I wanted to try the land mines, the Castle fell easily but since I couldn't destroy the production buildings they kept training indefinitely (their attacks were very small but they had just enough units that I could never go finish the base before getting attacked again). Then I decided to try destroying the farms instead, much easier to do since there's 7 and a Cannon tower on the top and a single one near the entrance so you can destroy the Castle and all farms pretty easily and have Animate Dead finish the rest of the units. I was still too cowardly to attack the other bases but it does make defending significantly easier.

IDK how to do this but I accidentally won hard mode thinking I was playing with reduced difficulty, the main thing that helped me is destroying leftmost human peons and town centre with goblin mines like in video so they did attack during game but without steam engines which was most important thing for my left wing survive. (It was my 4th try with loads and saves and loads and saves) Hint keep that burning stone giants for the last battle and shutdown mages first in last battle.

Late but I did that. It's a bit annoying because you have to keep going back and forth to the health fountain (and you can't really use Meat Wagons because they can't get healed) but as long as you keep Kel'Thuzad alive he can destroy the Castle and the three Gryphon Aviaries with D&D. The rest is cleanup duty.

Nahhh Ive done better. You can still beat it without the mines. The first base that he took can be easily be done with force. Build those wagons early and wyvern and then storm it. Then go to the blue base and destroy ONLY the altar then back ur army back. By then the golem should spawn, take them and your army to take the grey human base at the narrow path like he did here. After that focus the blue ezzz.
