Man, I was *just* wondering today (after finding your Re-orchestrated MP3s on the web) if anyone will ever do Glen Stafford's WC2 soundtrack, even with software instruments. These are the two game soundtracks I have downloaded multiple times.

I get exactly what you mean - going through the campaign of Warcraft II, I felt like a general waging a war that was moving the front lines; in Warcraft 3, it sometimes felt like I was leading a smaller expedition that, most of the time, failed to affect the strategic positions - The undead campaign being one big exception. unlike Warcraft 2, I could fight the whole campaign with Arthas, and have done nothing to even touch the undead or the Blackrock orcs, or to advance the position of the Alliance - far from it, in fact.

W3 is so colorful and comic. W2 is bloody, dark and mysterious. It's sad that Blizz turned into a teenager company, as much as I still enjoy some games like Hearthstone.

@@whitegoose2017 True, the multiplayer lobbies were something else entirely. You could play ANYTHING. LOAP, Castle Fight, Parasite, Ice Gliders, Run kitty run, the list goes on. This eventually gave birth to the MOBA genre.
