What i love about warframe is it’s totally friendly to both single and team players. Each warframe can dominate alone or compliment teamwork very well. Each one has abilities that can make them unstoppable but they also have abilities that make your allies love you :) you guys seem to LOVE nekros so for example you could play alone and resurrect the dead to make your own army and dominate levels all by yourself, or online nekros can help you gather resources, ammo, health and so on for all your teammates. I’m glad you guys show a lot of interest in this game. It’s really fun and interesting.

Never mind the "abilities," the fanciest move in warframe is one that every warframe can do: the bullet jump. The first time you perform a series of slide bullet jumps across a map, it's something you never forget.

And the bullet jump grew out of a glitch the game had. Namely, if you slided pressed attack and jumped at the same time, you would take off while doing the spinning slide attack giving you a massive speed boost while hurling through the air. We used to call the maneuver... the helicopter.

Octavia is definitely one of the most unique Frames. Super fun to play around with. I loaded a bunch of either iconic or meme songs onto my mandachord and i swap between em. It really makes some people's day to hear one of their favorite songs while they're just grinding missions.

Valkyr is best frame. Once you're webslinging around as an invulnerable (literally, she's invulnerable) rageball of wolverine claws, you're the one guaranteed to be the last one standing in any match. I love my Valkyr

Ash is my favorite. He's the truest ninja frame out of the whole roster and an excellent frame for solo players. Squishy, no crowd control abilities and not a team player, but his invisibility makes his squishiness largely irrelevant and the best crowd control is being able to kill lots of bad guys really fast, and Ash is one of the top tier frames for that. His profile leaves out quite a few details, though: Shuriken - at max level, Ash throws out two shuriken, not just one. Shuriken also have slight homing abilities, so they rarely miss - making them awesome for melee players who need a quick ranged attack but have crappy aim (like me!). Smoke Screen - the big deal about invisibility is that enemies in Warframe do not try to attack invisible players (they will chase you and run to where they think you are, but they won't shoot). So, the stun from smoke screen is meh, but being able to wander around and kill dudes without them ever firing back makes frames with invisibility powers (Ash, Loki, and Ivara) kind of invulnerable. Teleport - Ash can teleport to enemies, allies, and even some objects - not just enemies. When teleporting to enemies, they are automatically opened up to finishers (finishers deal 20x normal damage). Teleporting to allies can be good for mobility but also useful if a downed ally is on the other side of a large room and you want to revive them. Lastly, teleporting to objects can enable Ash to bypass some traps or barriers like a wall of laser beams that trigger an alarm if touched. Bladestorm - This is one of the most reworked abilities in the game due to how OP it used to be (originally, it was Ash's "I win" button - press it once and everything nearby dies while Ash himself becomes invulnerable and gains time to recharge his shields). Nowadays, you activate it once to mark enemies for killin'. Each enemy can be marked up to 3 times. Once done marking, activate the power again to generate two invulnerable clones of Ash who do what you saw in the profile: teleport to the marked enemies and stab 'em with Ash's wrist blades. This enables the player to keep doing whatever they want while the clones kill marked enemies. If you want to make Bladestorm go faster, you can teleport to a marked enemy to have the real Ash join his clones in automatically teleporting and killing.

Nezha and Atlas are part of mythologies, Atlas being a titan forced to hold up the cosmic sky in Greek Mythology, while Nezha is a Chinese god, who is actually a male god of protection (I know next to nothing about Nezha, only a small google search and finding him in Journey to the West vids.)

I'm more familiar with Nezha from playing Smite, the depictions are very different but a lot of the signatures hold through the different interpretations. Pretty freaking cool to see the two different imaginings of the mythological source material, and I gotta say I've never looked at Smite's version of him and thought "whoa what a badass" but Warframe's idea of him is decidedly awesome lol. I'd play it lol.

He's a pretty popular character to serve as inspiration for various games' interpretations of him, and I would expect nothing less than for Warframe's vision of him to be freakin' awesome. :) I really enjoyed his Smite rendition, and there was a time long ago when I played League of Legends and absolutely loved playing their version of him as a solo top. I can't wait for Ken and Bethany's Warframe draft video that shows him off as part of the lineup. :D

@@ericmartin8870 I'm personally excited to see what they think of Grendel and Nidus, Grendel was said to be able to consume whole worlds in his lore, even though his main playstyle is to eat enemies, use them for buffs or just shoot them out of his stomach. And Nidus, an Infested Warframe who is my absolute favorite to play, using his spiky tremors, and summoning his own nests, he's true definition of Grouping enemies up and smashing them apart in order to mutate, plus, once he gets enough mutation stacks, he opens up slightly, which leads to more fashion options!

I mainly run with Equinox and Nekros there is a mod that improves Equinox by splitting the day and night personalities so whichever you switch to the other half becomes an AI that fights along side you,there's a really good fan made lore video that tells the story that Equinox was originally a set of twins one as day the other night but the one was killed and now they are one and the same.

You can’t use most warframes from the start. You need to progress the missions the missions that drop the parts to build the warframes. Some require you to do story missions to unlock the ability to build them as well.

One fun aspect of warframe is people coming together in teams to create devastating combos. Take mirage and nova for example. Mirages second ability makes inanimate objects attract enemies and then explode on contact, and nova's 4th ability makes enemies explode on death, setting off a deadly chain reaction. Add in an Octavia or rhino, for damage buffs and you've got a formula for success

My favorite moment in this game came when myself and 3 randos got stumped one day trying to complete a stage 3 daily control point mission with a mutator that made every enemy take drastically reduced damage. No matter what we tried, we couldn't clear enemies fast enough to take points and would lose within the first couple of waves, so we started switching in more crowd control to try and slow enemies, like Vauban and Nova. When that failed and we started getting frustrated we tried one more time, and somehow hit upon a combo of 2 Ivaras, a Loki and a Nyx (myself). It ended up working perfectly; the Ivaras each camped a different point and dealt with anything that approached, Loki started disarming enemies en-mass, and once we had a big group clustered, I turned them all against each other. Stripped of their ranged weapons, this forced dozens of Grineer together in the middle of the map and they started whacking each other with cattle prods, doing barely any damage to each other due to the mutator. Due to so few dying, this stopped more from spawning, and the few that got by could be quickly killed before they contested the points. All we had to do then was wait until we hit the score we needed, re-applying the mass mind control as it ran out and grabbing any errant foes to add to the pile as they wandered in, then slowly thin out the enemies at our leisure before the next wave started, and repeat. Took a while, but what had at first seemed an impossible trial turned out to be completely doable with some creative thinking.

I play Frost Prime. The thing about freeze is that you can fire it at the ground so if enemies step on it they get slowed down so she wasn't lying about the battlefield being his playground

This is one of my favourite games and has been for a long time. It's one of the few games where the main aspect of grinding is actually made fun and rewarding. I always try to get people into it but it's never their thing. Personally I think WF is one of the best power fantasy games where you are the one man army. It has a lot of depth to it and the variety in playstyles is insane even if you tend to see some more than others.

I have been playing warframe on and off since 2013, a founder actually, and currently the highest level obtainable, which is rough. I was a rhino main for a long time, his ability to just become an unkillable wall with brutal melee swings was far too good, however i eventually swapped to mirage, her ability to summon clones paired with aoe weapons means barrages of explosions, and them directing attacks for me meaning i rarely got hit, pair that with the disco ball chopping up enemies and I have loved my mirage.

they do show on a few that you can get special mods for each warframes abilities that can allow for some very interesting builds. - I used to have what was called the 10k Rhino build basically there was a mod that added a stacking armor increase buff for every foe you hit with Rhino Charge but what they didnt tell you was Iron Skin shielding effect scaled with armor, so you could charge into a group of foes and get something like 300% armor buff then quickly use Iron Skin and boom you now had a ton of extra shield/hp that need to be worn down before you started to take any damage and the best part was it lasted till used up or you reused Iron Skin.

My main warframe is Mesa (the cowgirl one), reminds me of the Equilibrium movie and she’s fairly easy to use! Of course some of these Warframe profiles are outdated. For example, Excalibur never had the exalted blade before, he had Super Jump which was self explanatory and Radial Javelin was his ultimate ability which was reworked after a few years. It represents bullet jumping which is the replacement and main parkour mechanic for every warframe in the game now. Another example, Chroma can now switch elements on the go in a mission instead of having to switch colors while customizing him, and Mag can also use her 2nd ability as a personal shield. Back then there was parkour 1.0 with a goddamn stamina bar and actual parkour like wall running and along with it was “coptering” which was sliding in mid air and using your melee weapon, it was unintentional, fun, and busted as hell. Later on, Digital Extremes decided to replace it with parkour 2.0 which was more of a balanced movement system (btw I really hate wall hopping which replaced wall running). No one should forget about the Corpus Ship rework which was the first map or tileset in the game since release. Long comment I know but yeah everything has changed throughout the years of Warframe lmao

You can have all warframes in the game if you want, it's limited only buy your slots, wich you can buy with platinum (donate currency). You can also get platinum in the game from trade with other players for gear you don't need, so it's not limited in the usual sence.

Ash, most ninja of the Warframes. Atlas, the Gorgon Golem. Was buffed a while back so that when enemies damage the barrier, they suffer radial slash damage. It was SUCH a good change to the wall. Atlas is my go to tank. Banshee: birdy needs buffs bad. Chroma, the elemental Dragon. He was buffed to be able to switch elements on the fly. I don't use him very often since he's really more tank than DPS. His is the strength of scales, not of fang and claw. I'm told that Equinox can be one of the most busted frames for offensive power, but that's more tricky than I want to go. Also the grind is a freaking pain. Excalibur, the default frame. Face of the saga, and an easy introduction. Lotus is frankly being generous towards his defensive aptitude. Excalibur can fight on any battlefield, but is, in my opinion, built for offense action or at least a running battle to contest an area. Frost. Not much to say other than his prime version has a poor default appearance. Inaros, the underwhelming God King. oh sure, he has a cool quest and lore, but those make his lack of offensive power (especially his 3) stand out more. What can he do well? ENDURE. Ivara's 2 sees a lot of use in crazy over the top niche builds. Lavos, the only frame who can inflict gas damage. He is much more recent than the previous ones in this video. I haven't mentioned signature weapons until now, but his shotgun, Cedo, is delightfully insane. Limbo, first pick for the trolls. When used well, he is an amazing support, but mostly he is annoying, whether that is the player's intent or not. Loki was once one of the starter frame options. The original starter options. Mag is one of the current starters, who all got buffed/reworked in the latest update. Mesa the space cowgirl Gunslinger. Mesa Prime is my anti-Corpus main. Mirage. I don't use her often, but she is definitely fun, and people who mained her are definitely part of the reason for AOE nerf in the latest update. Be careful using slight of hand on Corpus tilesets since it will active dormant traps that are indiscriminate along with the normal perks of her abilities. Nekros Prime was one of my first primes and my serious pick for a while. Most play him for loot collection, but he is still a formidable warrior. Nezha is fun, but the community keeps making tasteless jokes in chat about the effeminate male fire frame. Nova's been getting love in cinematics lately, and science wise, she should be THE most destructive frame hands down, barring extremely minute use of antimatter. In practice, her firepower is wanting, and she's more of a damage buff support. Nyx is.... tricky to use. Octavia's mandachord can indeed be set up by the player, so you can actually customize her music for fun or to shake up the buffs. You can also import songs linked in chat. Bring out your inner bard! Rhino, the other original starter option next to Loki and Excalibur. The first of the tanks. Sadly only one of his alt heads makes him look more like a rhino.

Quite a few of the profiles you will watch out highly outdated as many of them show frames that have either had new abilities added to them which means removing old or changing how it’s current abilities function or straight up increasing their abilities damage and whatnot as well as some receiving minor stats buff to health and armor. Frames rarely ever receive updates that make them worse so most of the frame you will see will probably be a lot more appealing in game if some of their profiles underwhelm you. Infact Excalibur is getting a really good buff to his 1st and 3rd next big update. They will now both add a slash proc to enemies which causes bleed bypassing shield and causing damage over time and they are also removing the target limit from Javelin. As a Excalibur main I’m super happy!

Man, Warfame is another of those games I just admire from afar because I'm too much of a chicken to allow myself to fall down that rabbit hole lol. It looks SO DAMN GOOD but there's just SO MUCH to it that it's daunting for a newbie who KNOWS FULL WELL how many hours he'd pour into this game at the cost of pretty much every facet of his life lol. I'm already doing that with Ark, I don't need another one lol...but man, one day I think I'll probably succumb to the temptation. I love seeing this lineup of the frames available, I know a few of them from watching others play or checking out promo material/trailers, but a lot of these were new to me. I gotta say, Ivara looks the most like my style IMO. Stealthy archer with an expansive toolkit of cool ammunition types and tactics available? Uh yes please. Rhino also looks pretty dope, I love playing tank-n-spank "look at ME, not my teammates" classes, and having supportive abilities to heal or empower my allies while I soak up all the attention and damage is the hallmark of a true paladin. Very up my alley! :D I sit in both fear and excitement for the day when I eventually give in and install Warframe. Excitement for all the fun I'll eventually have with it, but I can't help but mourn for any scraps of a life I might pretend to have once it gets its hooks into me lol.

@@CaptainPilipinas A little yeah but more like..."good god there is an expansive wealth of subsystems and procedures involved in character progression that would take weeks of wiki-browsing research to learn all about in order to give me any form of streamlined experience whatsoever". It's kind of like Path of Exile, where the game has been running for so long with so many updates that the entire backlog of content updates has led to an impenetrable maze of content that lies beneath the surface of the base-level gameplay loop and isn't necessarily all directly stated in-game to guide you around the optimal path to getting what/where you want to go. So yeah, that does apply to the grinding aspect in regards to where you want to go run missions for what pieces of what you want, but it's beyond just that. There's just...SO MUCH to do, and so many places to do it that you (read: I) can sink absolutely shameful amounts of time into playing the game and not really ever quite figure out precisely what I'm doing. Ark (my current obsession) isn't terribly unlike it in that regard. There's not a lot of hand-holding and you mostly have to either just figure it out as you go along (leading to eventual epiphanies of "OH MY GOD I SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING THIS THE WHOLE TIME") or spend more time reading the wiki and watching KZbin videos about the game than actually playing the game lol. So no, I'm not complaining about the grind. I'm trembling at the depth of the game and how quickly I can sink to the bottom and never climb my way back up out of it lol.

Inaros is probably my favourite along with Nidus, or at least before they nerfed Nidus's tankiness into the ground. Inaros is by far one of the most ridiculously tanky warframes in the game. He can sport several thousand HP with almost as much armour. Chroma can be so far as I'm aware the tankiest with his armour colouring potentially giving him enough armour to shrug off just about anything you throw at him. Rhino is also pretty tanky.

I don't play Warframe anymore as i just don't have the time, but 10k HP Inaros is the way i played. Paired with old Tempo Royale Galatine Prime and that channeling mod that made you heal and i was nigh immortal. I remember making the original version so tanky that i survived self damage from explosive weapons when that was still a thing. (Unless slash procked, or viral) Ahh, good times, maybe i ll check back with the game some time later.

All warframes will receive a Prime version, even if it doesn't fit the Lore™, like Nidus or Inaros. Primes are a thank you for hanging around and as a paid incentive. The only outlier is Excalibro, his Prime was only given to Founders along with his signature weapons, and they will never be available again. Current meta: Ash can basically evaporate any single target, in the literal sense. He has been given augments that essentially make him able to strip ALL protection from any target, up to and including bosses, and then do 8x damage to them at 100% chance of crit... for x16 damage per hit. Nasty. Atlas can do absolutely bonkers damage into the hundreds of thousands per hit, and then gain almost infinite armor from killing those enemies. Tanky-Spanky. Banshee is the Odd Orphan Out in current meta. While she can still literally lock down an entire tileset with soundquake and do into the millions with sonar, Steel Path enemies will rip her to absolute shreds in literal seconds. She still has her defenders but the simple truth is other warframes do everything she does but better or faster. Chroma... basically cannot be killed. Ever. While his damage output in frame powers is bleh, his weapon enhancement can literally scale to an almost infinite degree. Allowing to literally plow through any content in the game on actual cruise control. Equinox, the king and queen of both crowd control and... farming. As in XP farming. Nox's ability to knock out an entire tileset lets her gain absolutely ABSURD xp... and kills. She definitely won't win any speedruns, but you can't attack what you aren't awake to see. Excalibro: Master of Stab... and not much else. Warframe's Poster Boy has been left behind for the most part, while he's a solid choice for any content, even with recent buffs he's still squarely in the middle of the pack. Frost until recently was allotted as the designated driver and purse holder of Warframe, his defensive scheme simply unsuited for most of the game's new content. A recent set of augments has changed that however, basically making him Chroma lite. While his power damage is still meh, his weapon damage on frozen enemies now scales into six figure red numbers, allowing hm to clear an entire room in one weapon burst, regardless of what was in it. Inaros has been essentially untouched since his debut, which considering he is the literal Father of Tenno Rebellion is a shame. Despite his bland as hell power set aside from Scarab, Inaros remains the third most played Frame amongst MR30+ players, simply because it's really REALLY hard to kill him if you build him right, and if you perchance to steal Chroma's power, he's literally immortal as well. Ivara is fiddly as hell, which relegates her to pretty low popularity. She can remain stealthed for forever, but the farming nature of the warframe does not even kind of support this playstyle, even for how strong stealth is. Lavos is a cross between Chroma and Equinox, and essentially plays like it. Hidden in the box however, is the fact he is tanky as fuck. Most casting frames are glass cannons that rely on powers or a gimmick set up to avoid damage, Lavos just takes that noise in the face and keeps on coming. His signature shotgun also does batshit damage without putting a single mod in it. LImbo... yeah. Put simply, Limbo breaks Warframe. Literally. Digital Extremes has tried to balance this Frame for YEARS. And they can't. Put simply, if there's a Limbo on your team, you won't be playing warframe, you'll just watch Limbo play warframe for you. Leading to Limbo: I'm helping! Rest of squad: *squad has disconnected, returning you to Orbiter* yeah. Loki: the OG meta champ, Loki was by far and away the most popular frame for years owing to stealth damage and speed of movement. However, just like Frost and Banshee, the game has literally left him behind and DE has done almost nothing to address his now shortcoming in design Mag is the Queen of Qrunch. She has CC, she has damage, she has debuff and she has the Hamster Ball of Death. Not really much else to say. Mesa: Absolute horseshit burst damage. Just absolutely disgusting, Press 4, win Warframe. I think she has other skills, but you never see them. Because 4. Mirage's "skillful manipulation" is to copy herself four times and fill the room with bullets. Basically Mesa but one direction. She can also lock down an entire Tile, bringing some the hardest crowd control in the entire game. Nekros FARMFRAME™Also infinite army, Also infinite life. So you can *INFINITE FARM™* Nezha: If Sonic the Hedgehog was a warframe. Also tanky as hell. Nova: *EXPLOSIONS* Nyx: They give her buff. No one plays. They give her more buff. No one plays. They give her all the buffs. No one plays. No love for Nyx. Octavia: The undisputed strongest damage Warframe in the game. Period. Her damage scales based directly on enemy damage... and thus scales infinitely. Rhino: The frame that do all the dos. Tank? Yes. Live all the forevers? Yes. Do all the damages? Yes. Crowd Control? Yes. Rhino does all the things. He may not do them the most or the best, but he does them well. The perfect all around Frame, whether beginner or min-maxing vet. Ken and Beth are about even. Octavia balances out the absolute gronkbonk damage that Mesa and Ash do, Octavia also balances out Limbo's completely literal gamebreaking crowd control. As far as longevity goes, no contest as Bethany's team contains character you can literally build unable to die.

Who needs stealth when there’ll be no survivors in the end anyway? Quite a few of these warframes are extremely op. Octavia in Particular has no(unless she’s been nerfed) damage cap to her abilities because their damage scales based on how much dmg enemies deal, basically making enemies nuke themselves. Chroma used to be able to do a TREMENDOUS amount of dmg with his 2nd or 3rd ability(i forget which one atm), but he got nerfed. Still does quite decent damage tho. Equinox’s day mode ultimate ability can easily nuke most rooms with the right modding and weapons Banshee’s ability that marks enemies is extremely strong and can increase one’s dmg by over 10x with the right modding Mesa is bae. Nuff’ said. Fr tho, she used to be my main go-to warframe, she has so much utility in shutting down a large group of enemies, with solid survivability as well. She’s had several changes/nerfs over the years to reign her in. Nyx is one of my friend’s favorite warframes. She has pretty solid utility and good dmg, but is in need of an upgrade/rework(i haven’t played much in 7 months so i dont know much about her situation) Mirage’s eclipse ability(helminth) is extremely strong in light mode and can multiply damage quite well, along with her first ability multiplying projectiles. Rhino’s roar is one of the most useful dmg buffing abilities in the game, and its also a helminth ability(explained later) Nova is also really strong on this list with her molecular prime, which can either speed up or slowdown enemies depending on how you mod her in addition to increasing the dmg they take and making them explode on death. Speeding up enemies may sound counterproductive to survival, but it helps for defense missions and any missions where you need to kill enemies faster to progress the objective Excalibur’s ultimate ability and radial blind are extremely useful abilities. His ultimate deals great damage and his blind can open enemies up for finisher attacks that deal bonus dmg based on modding Ivara is the queen of stealth in Warframe. The quintessential stealth frame in the game. Unlike ash and loki, whose stealth is based off a timer, hers is based off her energy reserves, and she can effectively remain invisible forever with the right modding. Her sleep arrow is extremely strong, and her ultimate is fairly good as well. I hardly use the yondu ability tho. Her main problem is that she’s kinda slow in stealth, and she’s a somewhat slow killer compared to others Mag can deal pretty good dmg when she armor and shield strips enemies. She’s a bit underestimated in her capabilities Nekros is the classic choice for resource grinding. He doesnt have particularly great dmg output, but has really strong cc and decent survivability Lavos was one of the most recent warframe i got. Can’t remember too much about him, but he dealt pretty solid dmg Ash used to be extremely strong with his bladestorm but got nerfed. His shuriken and teleport can be extremely useful/strong however with the right modding Limbo is quite the divisive character in the Warframe community. Some people hate him. Some tolerate him, some dont care. His abilities are strong, but too strong. Because he can send other allies and enemies into the alternate dimension, they can become untargetable, causing players to be forced to target other enemies and what not. Limbo is probably the king of defense and technically survivability as well, however Frost is probably the Prince of defense with his snowglobe. He’s generally much more preferred since his abilities interfere far less in ttk(time to kill) Helminth abilities are those which a warframe can share with any other warframe an infinite number of times, although there are a few caveats and exceptions. To unlock a Helminth ability, you must sacrifice a base warframe(non-prime) to this giant meat flesh wall thingy. I typically do this when the prime version of a warframe comes out, otherwise you must farm the warframe a second time. There are a ton of balancing issues if this system went unchecked, so: 1: the devs prepicked which ability is Helminth per frame(which can never be their ultimate ability) 2: the stronger meta abilities (i.e. Rhino’s roar) recieve minor nerfs when a warframe other than the original uses it 3. A warframe must replace one of their own abilities, can only learn one ability at a time, and they cannot have more than one dmg buffing ability (i.e. to give a mirage rhino’s roar ability, you must replace Eclipse with it) Btw fun fact: my profile pic for the last several years is that of Ember prime(which is ironically one of my least used warframes), ill talk about some other strong abilities in the next video. On Paper, Nekros sounds the best. Unfortunately, this game is very fast-paced, so the summons aren't that useful. He's mostly used to farm with his desecrate. The top 3 out of this part would be Octavia, Nova and Inaros with Excalibur as an honorable mention. Unfortunately, the worst is Nyx, who used to be my favorite Frame. The gameplay shifted from Crowd Control to Damage, and Nyx hasn't been reworked yet.

It's funny as some of these videos are really outdated as some of these older Warframes have had reworks, a couple had reworks multiple times. Some of these Warframes have some interesting ideas at first, but then ingame can be disappointing due to the design of the game's scaling system. It makes some of the abilities very weak. All minion type abilities really suck which is a shame for those of us who like controlling other units like being a necromancer.

I hate to be a party pooper, but it's practically impossible to say which of you two would win based on frames alone. I've played the game on and off almost since it was launched, and I would never, ever say "this frame is better than that frame." There is so much customizability in Warframe that build possibilities are almost endless. Ash isn't meant to be a tank, for example, but with the right weapons, arcanes, and mods, you can make him one if you really, really want to. He won't ever be as good a tank as a properly built Rhino or Inaros, but he'll be good enough to get through the Star Chart (majority of the game's content). All that customizability is usually also why the game is so daunting for new players: option overload.
