Koumei is overall a fun frame - the idea is great, the theme and design are excellent, but she could definitely use some polish in execution and power. Her first is a bit inconsistent, sometime you'd spawn an actual web and sometimes a few threads for enemies to trip over, it has decent CC but you can get something similar if not better from her 4th. Her signature is definitely the decrees but escalating cooldown is a bit too restrictive I think, but it's totally random - both challenge and buffs, sometimes you'd get god rolls and sometime dog. As for her 3rd, that 50% chance and 3-second cooldown seen is a bit unreliable for being her main survivability tool. Her 4th is actually really good but it tends to clash with her 1st (movement based vs restriction). As for the general gameplay, I'd say she's perfect as a status primer, a bit underpowered for higher level but really fun in early game.

Slapping sickening pulse over her 1 helps with killing stuff. I wish her 2's cooldown wasn't so long because time spent doing the challenge should already be enough of an inconvenience

Tried a full-tank, umbral build, but she just feels too much of a coinflip to play. But that's my main problem, if you want to go into a longer endless mission, you can't take coinflips, but her 2 requires her to stay for as long as possible. She also is somewhat a "beginner" Warframe, but the mods that take advantage of her primer capabilities are anything but beginner mods. I dunno, just feels off.

Played 2h of survival sp and died two times because no matter how much hp and armor you have your 3 will not save you from one shots after your shields are gone. I wish there would be some kind of hp buffer preventing you from dying. Shame that you are always forced to shield gate even with gambling frame... Her 2 CDs are too long especially since you get useless melee decrees while she can't tank anything at close range. Not a great frame unless you get a lot of gun decrees then you can have a lot of fun. She also doesn't scale of str at all. Tiny dmg boost on 4 and 1 doesn't matter it won't kill anything at steel path anyway.

use the Mecha Set w/her and a compatible pet watch rooms go boom. Drop Overextended and Flow add STR. Archon Stretch is more than enough energy and/or add a blue shard

Hard pass on this one chief. Love your videos, but this one ain't doing it for me. Those Archon mods aren't gonna see any meaningful procs aside from Archon Stretch. Save some forma and use the prime mods y'all. Also the sweet spot for her range is 160. Her 1 can only produce 24 threads. Going above 160 means that on your initial cast some of the original threads will disappear. A 2nd cast will obviously see all the original ones disappear. I guess this is a preference thing, but I don't want the threads closest to me disappearing. It's a matter of having greater control over the thread's placement. Maybe you only care about the initial status application, so I won't definitively say it's always wrong to go above 160 range. That said, Overextended, Stretch, and Augur Reach is definitely way too much. Imo you should go for Stretch and Augur Reach, or just Overextended. I prefer the setup with Augur Reach for some shield gating.

casting speed and the equilibrium (purple). I put str in in the build itself because it gives you a higher base dmg for the dice to multiply. I also buffed the shields a bit because her 3 will give you overshields and 1 duration shard
