Warframe: Machinegun Opticor Vandal

Everyone and their mother was complaining about how Opticor Vandal lost base damage in exchange for fire rate. So I decided to minmax the hell out of fire rate and turn it into a machine gun.
Special thanks to Leyawn, for lending me the 2nd Opticor god riven in the meme build, VIyrew, Revanx and braindead5 for making these awful meme runs possible, and recording 3rd person footage.

Note: This is a meme build focused on stacking fire rate. It sucks on ESO (because buffs reset every zone) (wave 6 omegalul), and it requires 4 imbeciles willing to band together to make a monstrosity.
That said, you can probably run a less meme-y fire rate build and it will do pretty well for general use.
Opticor Vandal is a great weapon IMO. Yes it loses part of its identity as the 1hko BFG we all know and love, but the tradeoff is worth it IMO. I've always liked new gimmicks or interpretations of weapons rather than just straight up stat upgrades. If you mod your Opticor Vandal properly, I argue it's far more QoL than the base Opticor - because Warframe is mostly about distributing "good enough" damage across multiple targets efficiently than dealing super overkill damage to one target. Opticor isn't even reliable for single target damage like Eidolons because of its funky beam hitbox, so I'm more than willing to lose the single target aspect for overall smoothness of use.

Been getting a lot of "this video is sped up" Einsteins in the comments, and I wanna say this: 1) Warframe is an insane enough game that I don't have to fake shit or speed anything up. I'm deeply insulted that anyone thinks this video is faked or sped up in any way. 2) You can time the buff countdowns at the top right of the screen, or the ESO timers, with a stopwatch and see if the video is sped up. The means to check whether the video is sped up, is right in the video for all to see, but nooo, I'll accuse you of speeding up a meme video that doesn't need to be sped up, and prove to you how fucking lazy I am to see whether footage progresses in real time. Bring it. If you can prove any footage in this video is sped up with concrete evidence I'll happily eat my own shoe.

Duncan Price Doomguy can beat a titan to a pulp so I am pretty sure the recoil is going to be alright. Also the bfg is an energy based weapon not a blast chamber type so the recoil might be different.

@@mrgamerplays2333 Just because he can kill something as big as a titan with his bare hands does not mean recoil is a non-issue. Even the strongest dude irl would a VERY hard time keeping a gun aimed at a target if it can put out twenty 50. rounds a second, there is far to much power behind them for that to work. The BFG is not an 'energy weapon' its a plasma weapon, plasma has mass so it can give recoil. We don't know how much mass is fired when the BFG is used so I can't get any numbers on kinetic energy and such, but its safe to say there is an ENORMOUS amount of recoil from it.

Duncan Price oh yeah I forgot to recheck that the bfg is plasma however we would still take account that air and energy doesn't weigh much and the recoil should not be that horrible depending on the type of propellant it uses but I still think that the biggest impact you would get would be if the projectile exceeds the sound barrier and starts making sonic booms or acts like a jet engine/flamethrower at intervals should it not use any propellants and consume the energy that it contains. But I am pretty sure if a weapon like that is made a company would not make it so the very definition of muscle power can't take the recoil. Just think of the bfg as a standard artillery that shoots highly condensed plasma rather than shells. Also now that I think of it the story and the gameplay have different effects on the doomguy so it might vary if he can or cannot handle it.

@@mrgamerplays2333 At MINIMUM the mass of a BFG blast would be 3 grams and at most 50 grams. A BFG blast moves quite slowly, even my 260 pound out of shape ass could outrun it. Containing all the machinery needed to make that blast, would make the gun weight more than 300 pounds which is NOT usable in combat in any way shape or form.

Ammo efficiency is horrible, but it does makes other players turn and stare at you (especially I'm using Mirage, quadruple the fun).
