24:53 omfg WE FOUND HIM the noobie tenno that was able to learn the mod menu XD you may not know this but you realizing that is VERY rare for new players, most players don't notice the capacity bar or the cost symbol next to each card As an MR30 I know the best time in this game is the first 10hours of self-learning Just read the mods and looks for numbers from time to time or look for a ? icon personally I feel like warframe becomes the same old same old too quickly and that's why it losses a lot of players but for those first few hours there's nothing like it EDIT: my only tip for new players 1 beware of the cetus noob trap, leave that area asap and actually progress your game after a little immersion 2 youre first priority is main quests and making the shortest path to unlock all planets, 100% the planets AFTER you can access all of them those 2 rules alone help new players feel like they are progressing and not just playing a horde shooter just to shoot hordes

@Vapes_And_Games I will add, since I left the game a few months ago, I noticed the devs color coded the modding, so if the mod will cost less, it shows green and if it cost more red That's every helpful to teach players a core mechanic to making a strong frame.

Not just the multiplayer they worked on the single player Unreal 1998 too, even the original Unreal engine was originally an editing tool created by Epic and James Shmaltz, the previous CEO of digital extremes.

Back again to watch the next installment :D Glad you're having a good time and that you've enjoyed the positive feedback. Hope you continue to have a great time creating for youtube. Warframe is a coop game! It's player to player server wise, so you can 100% invite your friends and play together. There's some solo quest missions, but basically everything else can either be match-made or in a constructed squad. The thing with the sword was that you activated melee only, just press the weapon swap button to deactivate. You get more capacity for your arsenal by levelling up your items, most of them go up to 30. You can also plug in Orokin Reactors (Warframes) or Cataysts (Weapons), but don't worry too much about the latter items for now. You can also upgrade your mods to make them more effective in the mod menu that you installed, this uses Endo and Credits. For now you can likely get away with upgrading a few of them halfway. You can also bullet jump vertically! Aim your camera towards a high ledge and then bullet jump upwards, it's a great way to quickly navigate an area and pulls you into the ninjas in space fantasy. You don't have to take the stairs like everyone else!

Youre 100% correct about the mod tutorial, not enough is explained but you figured it out way easier than most people lol Ill probably tag along for this series, youre really chill and its fun to hear someones genuinely new opinion about this game, just keep doin what youre doin :) I do highly advise you get your friend to join in with you though, this game is so much better playing through with someone you know. Evenetually in public matches you will get people joining who kill everything instantly and will likely make the new player experience a bit tarnished

Been playing WF for about 3 months now and put in a lot of hours, 600+ 🙈. As an older gamer (44) who can be a bit of a noob sometimes I got dragged round early doors by a pal that had played for a number of years which helped show me the ropes. This game is a lot of fun if you like a grind. There's a lot to learn and it can get overwhelming at times but stick with it and take as much advice as you can, you'll be crafting new frames, weapons and gear in no time. Oh, to jump higher crouch and hold, look straight up and then double jump. Also open all those loot boxes, it may not seem like much but you will need so many resources as you progress. You haven't even scratched the surface of this game. Honestly most under rated game ever made. One of the best sci fi stories, and top tier community. Game play is just pure fun which makes grinding not much of a GRIND. Vets love seeing new players peel back the layers. Keep making more, focus on expanding starchart and unlocking 2nd dream quest. BTW this is the best f2play model game almost everything can be earned either in game or selling items to other players for pay currency so you can buy money items, so can actually be f2play. Also we have a yearly event called tennocon which will be at end of July, showcasing next big spicy update.

I won't say how many hours (I don't remember honestly) but MR17, and i agree I do enjoy seeing new players go through, and to see/hear their reactions to certain story points is always entertaining.

to give some context that might be fun to know: Warframe was being brought infront of studios throughout the late 2000 and was rejected by every major publishers with constant arguments like space game's don't sell and things like that eventually Digital extremes developers of unreal and unreal tournament worked on dark sector and bioshock 2 and homefront all while working on warframe in the back ground eventually putting up the founders pack which when a couple where sold led to them believing the game might actually work. on 2013 warframe was available as open beta to most of the world recently the original developors have moved on to a new DE project named soul frame and has left Rebbeca ford the intern community manager as the creative director of warframe which is still one of the coolest stories about warframe where the intern fresh out of college woman in an male dominated industrie got to be head of the game we all love and play she also voices the lotus in the game she did from the very start as is for that reason refered to by alot of players as space mom or space mommy context for that is further in the story though no in game spoilers from me

In that last mission you accidentally held the switch weapon button (Triangle) which switched you into mele only mode. You can press it again to get your other weapons back out.

Also you don’t have to slide for too long before you bullet jump. You can press the slide button and the jump simultaneously

Welcome to Warframe sir! I have played this game a TON on and off for the last 6 or so years and there are still things that overwhelm me. My best advice for anything in Warframe is if something interests you - Railjack, Building your own clan, Duviri...whatever it is in the game you think you might find interesting, dive into one thing at a time. Really learn the ins and outs of one thing and then in time you'll be an expert. This game does not hold your hand, but as many have said the community is very helpful.

Hey... super fun video. Keep playing. You seem to get the game better then most. yes, a lot of things are not explained as well as they could be, but once you figure them out, it will be like second nature. Just to make you mind at ease... you can't lose anything you got. So do not worry if you find an enemy that makes your god drop and you leave the mission, the gun will be back in your inventory. Also, you can jump very high with bullet jump. But you will need a bit of practice. Do not worry, take your time it will also become second nature. You asked what determines the capacity of the weapon... well the level of the weapon and your personal level. So, after every few levels you gain with the weapon, try to add some mod

Welcome to the community tenno, and remember that while there is 11 years of content and mechanics to learn just take your time and don't let it get too overwhelming cause that's what kept pushing me away early on was how grindy it felt unnecessarily but I've since learned to embrace the grind as that's kinda the soul of the game

2:54 So to explain what you're looking at. The very top (E. Prime) is the name of that node/mission. Next down (Exterminate) is the style or type of mission it is (exterminate being "kill X amount of bad guys, then get to extraction" for example) Next line down (Grineer 1-3) is the faction of bad guys and their level range. In this case you're fighting the Grineer and you'll find they are all level 1, 2, or 3. Last line is how many multiplayer games are going on in that specific node/mission that do not have a full party of 4 yet. Now, this is not real time updated, so sometimes it is wrong. Sometimes your ping is too high to join them too, as you can select to only join with a certain ping or lower. So I look at it more like "how likely am I going to get a party" than "I'm totally going to get in one" Speaking of parties and multiplayer. In the top left corner, right next to your profile icon, that little globe, that is where you select your matchmaking options. Open, Invite Only, Solo, etc The first couple missions always sets it to Solo as you go through the tutorial, but it will start matchmaking you soon unless you change it ❤

Warframe player playing since 2017 here and you might have already figured this out but anytime you see a mission like at the beginning where the title is “do this” or whatever, then that’s a quest. You’re/were on the Vors Prize quest currently out of a lot of quests. And exterminate is one of the game modes of regular missions that aren’t quests

Little tips: excalibur abilities are a dash that zigzag between closer enemys dealing damage, a radial blinde that open finishers on affected enemyes, radial javelin an aoe damage dealer ability and the 4 is a exsalted blade that on every wave of the blade launches magic blade that hit enemyes and do a lot of damage, now for the movement, un can combine the bullet jumps, the slide and the roll to move faster, way faster, dont spent too mutch time on the mod sistem, even do is easy to figure it out, at your level is not worth paying too mutch attention cuz enemys are going to day easy untile they're lvl 50-60, but in the doubt just try some in depth guide cuz theres ar is a lot to understand but basically, the little simboles on the mod slot and on the mod indicate a polarity, if u match the polarity u can use that mode at alf lf the price (the little numer u saw on the mod), the game is 100% free, every thing u can see u can buy with in game currency by purchasing the blueprint and farmjng the material u need to craft them in the foundry, u can also farm the premium currency but that is a late mid game content, any way the warframe community is alweys there to help you so don't feel ashamed on asking for help, we like to help new player!

25:25 i was going to mention that there's a little tutorial button tucked away in the lower right of this screen which is more in depth than the one it forces on you, but it appears Playstation has a very different format from pc. The other buttons like remove all and mods and actions are present but the context situation does not have the tutorial button visible as far as i can tell It should still BE on that screen, maybe it's the tiny square to the left of the context prompts?

You grasped modding quickly. The next things to look for there are: 1) The dots at the bottom are the level of the mod, you can upgrade them and thry get more powerful. 2)The symbol beside the cost is the polarity. If you match symbols where you put it they cost half as much, if you mismatch they cost 1.5x 3) Aura (the top on the warframe) *gives* you space. Same with Stance on melee. Always fill these once you can. They give x2 when matching and x .5 when mismatched, but better mismatched than not at all. That'll get you started without backseating too much I hope, just filling in what the game should more clearly tell you. (Also, there is an auto option under actions, its not ideal but its a good way to see what the game thinks you should prioritize) (Also, also - you can mouse-over the icons for your abilities in the upgrade screen to see what they do and how the mods affect them. If you go to the abilities screen you can read in more detail and see actually helpful tips about synergies etc.) Liked and subscribed, I love new Tenno journeys.

They just recently opened up cross-play and save. The info you get is the faction on that level and their level. Theres a lot to learn, but anything and everything you want to know can be found on the wiki. Any and all equipment (frames, weapons, vehicles) can be farmed for free, the ONLY thing that cant be farmed really is cosmetics that have no bearing on actual gameplay. You CAN PTW, but its gar from required.

The paid currency isn't lootable, but you can collect and trade tons of items in the game for free, then exchange them with other players for paid currency, allowing you to get plenty of things without paying.

even thou some things i don't like here like frames are locked behind real money same is for weapons because you need to buy spaces for said frames and weapons with plat but on other hand game give you 75 % discount to buy plat and anyone can buy some to support this free game. and if someone don't wanna spend money you got option to sell stuff in game and earn plat that way

Exploration is not really necessary in warframe's early game, you basically just do the objective and extract to progress.

@@Starhiveart There are no actual hidden rooms in the old tilesets like with the newer ones like Zariman and Sanctum anatomica, even if you go off the beaten path you will only find normal basic containers that drop ammo and HP and energy orbs 90% of the time, i find it very hard to justify slowing progression down to a crawl just to get a little bit more resources and some ayatan stars, especially when there will be much better ways to acquire them later on when you need them.

@@Starhiveart i didn't say there is harm in exploring, i am saying it slows progression down to a crawl in a phase of the game that is basically just a tutorial. There is no point farming early game missions because they have very low drop chances for resources in the first place. Also Kuria are just lore items and because of how small and how well they are hidden there is no way he will be able to find them without golden instinct or landing craft support.

1:46 this is not even whole map. You have three more "planets" to discouver. There is also spaceship type mission with its own map. And few open world type maps. "Its like destiny" hah, no. Its other way. Mods have "a rarity" but its not really... a rarity. Its not situation when you can get for example 10 brown + damage mods before you get one gold + damage mods. Rarity(or more correct colour) exist only for easier grouping them. For example all prime mods are white. All "archon" mods are red. Galvanized mods are grayish with unique frame. But usefullness of a mod dont lie in rarity. For example one of meta mods is Hunter munition and it is brown mod. If you want min max your build you need corrupted mods. And they are gold. And there is a few golden mods that are dogshit. Dont spend your starter platinum on... anything but slots. Buy 1 slot for a warframe. And one pack of 2 slots for weapons. Its cost 32 plats. It is rather easy to sell something to someone for 2 plats. So you would have enough for another frame slot. There is more that 50 frames in game. And it is good to have multiple option to play. Giving to weapons numerical info about their power to have comparision with certain mission is very bad design. Its destiny desing. Or mobile games with power level. Like diablo 4. In warframe each weapon is unique. Some have variants. But its never situation when you use for example Burston, and later you get Burston +2 or Burston lvl 20. Burston is always the same. But in your hand it will do around 150 dps. But i my hand it one taping enemies above lvl 200(which is highest enemy lvl in normal game). And only difference is mods. Lvl of enemies is something that you have to figure out by yourself. Bc it quickly rise above your maximum frame or weapon ranks. This is something that often confuse new players. They think that they having lvl 20 frame make them stronger than enemies for example lvl 15. And they die in one hit from random eximus enemy. PvP is taboo in warframe. When it was(its still in the game but nobody plays it) it wasnt bad. Problem is with frames itself. We as players have to much movement capabilities. Which make each pvp extremely chaotic. Someone could say that matchmaking was bad. But this is not true at all. Veterans could die easly. And newbies with good weapon and luck could score multiple times in a row. For now there is only imitation of pvp in form of team pve against harder, smarter enemies. There is few arenas in sedna. And one arena in neptun. Which is place to make a lot of money quickly.

There is pvp in the game, but unfortunately its actually kinda trash. They could make it really good but theyve pretty much abandoned it sadly Also, you entered "melee mode" by holding triangle. You can easily get out of it by just pressing triangle though

@@TheDarkFoxOfficial its not a new player friendly game these days. Sure you can find a few videos on it like the 1 titled just play 100 hours and it gets better. But obviously you've seen how poorly they explain some of the core mechanics early on. Excalibur pales in comparison to many of the more fun frames just fyi :D
