Maybe my memory is faltering a bit, but I could have sworn before the Railjack rework, Seeker Volley had a charge-up delay, with an appropriate sound before firing, which I quite enjoyed. Similar to the difference between how the Corinth reloads shell-by-shell, while the Corinth Prime reloads the entire magazine at once, which I dislike.

Ballas...one of the Orikins that made the Tenno, warframes, kuva, grinneer, Cephalons, the sentient and betrayed Margulis bc she objected the idea of making children into Orikin slaves. The person who made a respectable general into a warframe and forced him to kill the general’s son. The only reason why he is in this state is because of irony. He betrayed his lover and the copycat betrayed him.

Ballas is a manipulator and a psychopath, willing to sacrifice anything for his vision. If you paid attention to one part when Ballas was describing his real intention behind creating the Sentients, you'll see that The New War has continuity with the rest of the story. Umbra was punished because he discovered Ballas's real intentions to turn the Sentients against his own kind.

@umbrasilver4593 Umbra was absent from the story because he turned into a PC and it was up to us whether or not to take him into The New War. Also, Umbra's story was already over when the Tenno gave him peace. I agree, DE did make a mistake by not spoon-feeding it to us how Ballas got from Point A to Point B but given the information that we know about him from The Sacrifice, I'm pretty sure he either had some backdoor programming on the Sentients to keep them under his control and everything in-between was all a ploy to confuse the Tenno long enough to stall them, OR given the information later in The New War, he manipulated Erra into giving him power.
