When I think WF weapons, this is one of the 1st. What I love most is that the theme and the functionality make sense together, and I'm slightly salty that there are now more powerful chaining beams that aren't nearly as iconic. The Tenet Glaxion was also just a missed opportunity for yet another iconic weapon in and of itself, imagine if it spread a cold mist that grows like gas procs instead, but it actually deals the radial dmg and has forced cold. It's a big part of why Mag is my favorite, Magnetize is such a great use of the theme, and it makes me like slower weapons like Exergis a lot more. There is something about using weaker things, but there isn't something about using stuff with poor theming.

so, some math on Galvanized Scope: each stack decays individually, to maintain 5 stacks and retain the full buff, you need to score a headshot kill less than every 2.4 seconds. consistently to keep the buff at 3 stacks (240%), you'd need a Headshot kill every

Mr KZbin man! Your "...But Why?" Series helped me understand a lot more about the game and these videos have helped me be much more confident in trying to put together my own builds! I have a friend who has picked up Warframe and has managed to get to the 1999 stuff pretty quick, but she's struggling to put together builds that feel good and while I have the knowledge in my brain I struggle to get it out in a way that's easy to understand. Would you consider doing a one-off video for showing someone how to put together some pre-galvanised mod builds that can handle post-Whispers in the Wall content for someone who's not Steel Path ready yet? In addition, I'd love it if you could update a few of your "...But Why?" Vids (mainly thinking of the elemental one bc resistances and blast status has changed since then!) If you have an external armor strip, I recommend trying viral electric with primary crux. You can run elementalist and galv aptitude, using Harold's priming as an extra source of gun CO. Crux is super easy to keep maxed because beam weapons go brr. But you basically just create a sea of electric chains that vaporize crowds and only get more potent the larger they get.

I definitely think if you're running Hunter Munitions, Vigilante Armament would be a great choice to upgrade crits. Galvanized Aptitude would feed off of that too. I think Rifle Elementalist misses the point of Amprex being able to stack tons of status at once. Viral would be better for damage boosting imo, contributing to both the slash procs and aptitude. And of course Merciless to top it off. Because you're killing multiple enemies at the same time the ramp up occurs while you're adding procs, as well as killing enemies. Galvanized Scope is a Simulacrum mod. If you're trying to finish a mission any time soon you won't have time to aim at every enemy's head. Definitely prefer crit delay

You can skip Hunter mumu for fire rate and use Primary Crux, but you would have to fit Serration somewhere or use Roar for base damage. Or putting fire rate as Warframe arcane/skill and Serration in hunter munition slot.

Personally, I'd keep Crit Delay and get rid of Scope (and Deadhead...). Scope's only really going to apply to the first enemy as that's the one you'll be headshotting, where as Crit Delay will apply to the whole chain.

Originally i was gonna rant on how bad the riven dispo on this thing being only 2/5 for how little it's used (when was the amprex REALLY last relevant? it's probably more than 5 years ago) but I think i should just give up because incarnons get to use 5/5 dispo and weapons that had slightly higher usage and didn't get incarnon'd are now all in the dumpster (like the ignis wraith having old antiquated stats; it's only used so much because it's that easy to come by - people used to hand out the blueprints for free and then it was just given to every clan ever. Balancing riven dispo on usage is just unfair especially if you introduce the double standard of not lowering dispo for incarnon weapons). They really need to give the majority of weapons a 5/5 dispo because weapons that are already mid-tier are made even harder to make viable than weapons that already shred the room with like 3 empty mod slots on the build.

In most cases tenet glaxion is going go do nearly double the damage. Blast is extremely overrated on wespons with a low base damage. Just run viral+hunter munitions.

Sadly Tenet Glaxion exists and also Vermisplicer. I have a godly riven for my Amprex and still doesnt manage to deal 10% of what the glaxion can do. Simply straight up better stats across all the board.

It still does. Main beam hits through enemy 1 and enemy 2 that stands behind. The beam will chain from Enemy 2 back to Enemy 1, effectively making Enemy 1 take 150% damage of the beam. Bigger the crowd, the better effect of punch-through chain.

To have a cold element last, after the electricity and toxin elements, to achieve a corrosive/cold setup. If the cold mod had remained in the top row and elec/toxin on bottom row in that order, the final elemental combination would have been magnetic/toxin.
