Even if this wasn't technically the biggest, it's probably the biggest valid trade. They had support check on it ensuring it was legit platinum and monitored to make sure everything was above board. I would imagine there are some people that have technically gotten bigger trades but no proof or it was fake plat and I always avoid doing big trades because of that so my highest is about 1200 plat selling an unrolled torid riven.

Well, the unranked versions were more valuable since collectors wanted to have 1 version for each state the mod could possibly be in. Basically: unranked, rank 1, rank 2, and rank 3. It might've just been for 300k for three of them? Unsure.

Back in the shotgun 100% status days, well-rolled kohm rivens could rival primed chamber prices. I wouldn't be surprised if one was traded 1:1 for primed chamber, it was a very lucrative time to be rolling rivens.

Yeah, I remember because the kohm was sitting right at the edge, where only a small fraction of status rivens could hit the desired 100% status, and shotgun status worked differently. 99.9% status was useless, only a 99.9% chance of each shotgun blast inflicting a status. Worthless. Meanwhile, 100% status was every pellet inflicting a status. The difference was insane, so those rivens were just disgustingly priced.

Hey there! -Onyx-Django shared this with me because he was surprised to see my name pop up in a video. Honestly, I’d have missed this otherwise since I usually don’t watch Warframe videos unless they’re official news from DE. This actually isn’t the biggest trade I’ve come across, unless we're talking verified/documented trades. While we were looking for potential buyers for the mod, we talked to a lot of previous buyers and sellers - that’s also how we estimated the price at around 170-200k. One of the sellers mentioned selling their unranked copy for 210k, but I didn’t ask for proof since it was just a casual conversation. Unranked copies were valued higher because they were rarer, and a lot of collectors want one copy of each mod's rank, not just a copy of each mod. It’s cool that DE made the mod more accessible, but I can’t help feeling a bit bad for the guy who bought it from us. Dropping that much plat on a single mod, only to see it drop to ~300p in a few years, has to sting, lol. About a year ago, I tried to find the buyer again, but it seems their account doesn’t exist anymore - or maybe they just changed their name. Awesome video! I really like the format of documenting niche events that aren’t widely known. You’re actually the first content creator I’ve subscribed to in my 11+ years of playing Warframe. Looking forward to seeing more videos like this, if you create any.

There are still some old "legacy" items that sold for quite a lot. I bought for 1k a mod called "Equilibrium (Steam Pinnacle Pack)," which is the 5 level version of the regular equilibrium. There's also the ancient fusion cores, corpus void key, arcane helmets, and the rarest one, I think, is the "Vay Hek Frequency Triangulator," sold for around 4k in Warframe Market. A video showcasing these items could be cool

The way the 2020 Baro event went was quite interesting, but most don't know why DE put it in Baro's rotation. The Primed Chamber owners knew. November 2019 PlayStation had one buyer than dropped around 180k + RMT (undisclosed amount due to privacy). He specifically bought plat in Brazilian currency for a better rate. Certainly we thought PlayStation was responsible for February's Baro Primed Chamber visit. But we did a deeper dive and found that on January 3rd 2020 there was a 320k Primed Chamber sale on PC. Two trades not that far apart, plus the report war that ensued is our most likely agreed-upon reason for the Valentine visit. DE didn't want support to deal with that mess, and an item coveted in underground trades meant bad press. As for the buyers when Primed Chamber arrived, PlayStation guy quit for about 2 years. Don't know about PC. It's rare you stumble across a video like this, I'm curious as to what else players want to really know about the other side of the community. Happy Holidays folks

@@Finallin Someone always knows something. Reason I wouldn't give up the evidence is because it brings up a lot of negative energy. Report wars are nothing new, and 2024 already had its fair share of bans most of which were nefarious and planned. Different topic though. There really isn't a "history" channel for the game, nor a strategy side of it. Why? It started with developer behaviour. 99% of fun/broken/exploitative synergy is largely patched and frowned upon (this I could go on forever but I'm keeping it short). Players in 2013/14 learnt to keep info away from devs. Consequently, this is also where drama and strategies both get tied and lost. The tradition gets transferred as the next gen learns how to avoid/deal with the developers. In short, explaining this side is taboo and the content would be very limited. Privacy issues of individuals throwing hands, corruption of support, developers turning a blind eye, etc. There are some channels that cover history of dev action, and minimal from player side. But you'll never get the full story from them, for the aforementioned reasonings. Primed Chamber history is one of those topics. But it barely scratches the surface. Players were allowed to keep the copies under the "oh crap, my bad, whatever" stance. The market was born. Became niche and a trophy. In any game, this leads into RMT, mass reports against the one who stockpiled the item to get rid of it for gamer reasons, and much more.

I am not a trader myself and I just bought few mods and ayatan sculptures back in day when needed. My biggest revenue possibly was one rare mod sale which gave me 20-25 plat. I personally relying on my revenues and 75% purchases but I do not buy more than max 370 plat anymore because I have enough platinum to sustain myself. Not sure which was the biggest trade in warframe history but I see everything above 100-150 platinum worthless. Simply because I know how much real time money is and time spent on work to get this amount. I think 350k was the biggest trade in this game history which could make this game on that virtual leaderboard of top 100 purchases in game history. One of the biggest ones were EVE online ones, gatcha game purchases and if the game still exists, Project Entropy. Project Entropy was a sandbox scifi fps-tps type of game where you can build settlements, own buildings, sell in game currencies for real life one. There was once a very huge transaction when someone in that game purchased a space station for 450-460k dollars. Counterstrike also have a bad reputation of selling very rare weapon skins for huge amount of money. I personally would not spend nowhere near the amount of money for pixels.

In CS case I think most valued skins right now are karabmbit case hardened for this one offer has been made for 1.5 million dollars but the guy that owns it didn't wanna sell it and another one is ak-47 case hardened which was sold for 1milion dollars. I also should add that both skins are pattern based for ak-47 is 661 and karambit is 387.

Was part of an early clan called LagWave50, who owned sechura (old alliance credit farm) for a very long time. I had gotten a primed chamber from a younger member who won it in a giveaway for all the prime sets at the time. Sold for 80k couple months prior to the planes release and still sitting on 40 of it. I don't gamble but still feels like i won the lottery.

The primed chamber era was CRAZY, considering when rivens came out a +dmg vectis was more than enough and stronger than primed chamber, even moreso post rubico prime. But its status as "the most rare mod in game" had players salivating at the thought of ever obtaining one. Great retrospective on this one!

I know why it was added back, and it isn't for the reasons people think it was. 7 years ago, I made the most advanced Warframe hack that had ever existed. It allowed you to execute arbitrary Lua scripts that could do basically anything in-game, such as drop any mod in the game on some random player, which would result in them getting banned. The thing is that these bans required manual reviews, so what I'd do was spawn them in, sell one or two for 50k platinum, and then start gifting streamers so much stuff that it crashed their game when they opened the gifts. I also just handed them out like candy to random people. The 2nd video on my channel shows me spawning in both Arcane Energize and Primed Chamber during the tutorial mission. I just happened to see this video and thought it'd be interesting to tell people a side of the story that would otherwise be forgotten.

I think they offer an otherwise unexplored viewpoint on the game, which can help developers make the game more secure and safe for everyone. As a new player (but I've followed the game since 2015, just never played it lol), I remember this. I thought it was WILD. My biggest trade was a few Legendary cores, a Sevagoth Prime blueprint, and two unused companion rivens for 430 plat. I bought a few slots with that plat (and the plat I already had) and got a few weapons/syandanas I wanted, so it was worth it. Also, Lavos. LOVE that guy, so glad I bought him. I know I undersold the cores, but I don't care too much.

My friend who really got me hooked on WF is in the top 100 informer killers, it was always really interesting to see how many people would try to purchase his primed chamber when ever we would play back in the day. I still remember the day the Valentine's day massacre happened. My friend had already pretty much retired from WF, but seeing the mod in Baro's inventory made me think of him at that time.

800 platinum for maiming strike way back at the peak of that meta, in hindsight not a good deal because sure it was the best strategy at the time, but 800 plat was and still is a lot to drop on one playstyle. Atleast i got to enjoy it for a couple of years before it got completely shredded by the nerf (and because other weapons and strategies became better, lets not kid ourselves).

I played on ps4 previously until 2019. Was hunting so had my low niche place amongs big boys of ps4 richmans. All info as i bought it, nothing from myself. There were only 12 chambers across ps4, they were "transfered" from pc after event. Of course all trades according to legend were about "100k plat". One of the most rich RU guys(300k+ pl) sold 2 of them, getting that "100k" per flip. But im writing this cuz of one specific guy. His name was "effdotNYCbaby" as i remember. By the time baro brought chambers, this fella was holding 3! of them. First thing we discussed right after the incident was obviously him. My biggest purchase was a god-riven for the Hek with Multishot, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, and the negative stat is less ammo, I paid 5200 platinum for it and I don't regret it in the slightest. With the right loadout my shotgun has over 40 multishot and it is glorious.

I should have won one at Tennocon, but Sheldon gave it to the wrong person.... There was a trivia question regarding Aphrodite IV and Matt Hawkins (who had drawn the Warframe comic), I knew the answer but Sheldon didn't see me in the crowd, in fact he assumed nobody knew. Matt who was standing next to him was trying to get him to let me speak, but instead Sheldon got frustrated, asked some entirely random question and gave it to someone close to the stage to be able to move on. 😮 It was a weird feeling... At least I got an apologetic shrug from a childhood hero.

oh boy, i remember this one. I saw someone buying the Primed chamber for around 80k plat or something. like really low balling it. then Baro came and he/she is just laughing on the regional chat probably shit talking the sellers to. I actually never sold anything. I always buy stuff because the area I'm on (ASIA) has a lot of "dirty" plat. you see a lot of "Why do I have negative plat" on chat. It probably rubbed off the wrong way on me so I never tried buying stuff.

My biggest one-time sale would be zenistar with maximum possible attack speed and range, with negative crit chance. That wouldn't do much nowadays, but before massive melee rework, zenistar was one of more useful tools for AFK (disc was always "fully charged" without needing to stack combo mult, and duration was infinite). I believe I sold it for 8k flat. To this day, I still live off of that. lol. Thanks for the video!

There's only two things i would spend massive amounts of platinum on: Rivens, and R10 mods/Legendary Cores. And that's because they're kinda engineered to always have a high value, so even if DE releases more Primed mods or ways to get Rivens, not only will their value not decrease, it's more likely to increase because, well there's even more of these to chase, and even more for collectors to scramble to grind out. I also might spend a couple hundred plat for a day 1 prime set, but that depends, and you gotta be in the right place at the right time to take advntage of that.

When I was more active in Warframe I used to just follow market trends regarding prime sets or mods. Throughput was more important than harpooning a whale. I think the most I made in a single transaction was 350p on a recently vaulted prime warframe set

The largest trade ive seen for Primed Chamber was 898,989p or roughly $50,000 usd. It still baffles me to this day some one made this trade. That aside, largest sell i had was 8.5k for tiberon riven with 240% crit dmg, 360% crit chance, 180% multishot, and -40% mag size. Larest buy was 2k for a godrolled mutalist cernos riven.

Was friend's with a guy that had 2 Primed Chamber's before they brought it back, feel so bad for him. he also had 165,000 plat ontop of the 2 primed chambers. Name was Iwaj, he went offline for like 2 or 300 days after it got brought back then i think he deleted his account cause he's not on my friends list anymore and I can't find him.

Veteran here: Primed Chamber is one of those that has it's own history, but definitely not the most expensive, or critical one. I could talk about 2019 Riven prices during the 6x3 Tridolon hunting rage, with the release of Rubico prime after, seeing rivens going upwards of 100K in the trade chat. The items missed the most in my opinion, under the radar, are the arcane helmets for warframes. They give small buffs to warframes if equipped (As your head skin) and were achievable through the old 'raid' system of 8 players (I believe so at least, not 100% sure on that one). The week the raids got cancelled, and those helmets were unobtainable, some of them, like pendragon excalibur iirc, skyrocketed, and I remember seeing some of their prices being closer to half a mil plat 💀 Also limited time skins, obtainable through DLCs some time ago, are also very expensive, but not in-game, instead in real life money value, don't have much knowledge on those unfortunately

The 6x3 rage refers to people trying to cram 6 “Tridolon” runs in one occurance of the Plains night time - Chroma and Rubido Prime had either launched right after the 2nd and 3rd eidolons were patched in, or right before. Back then, the madurai damage buff was charge based, so you would attempt to stack as much dmg on a vex armor chroma prime running rubido prime, shooting through Volt shields to oneshot the limbs to maximize efficiency, as you only had 40 minutes per cycle to try tridolon runs; I myself could only ever consistently cap out at 3 runs at a time, once doing 4, so a 6 run night sounds insane to the me back then and the me right now. This was the only way to farm Energize and Grace, from doing tridolon runs. This was a time before Scarlet Spear gave us the universal arcane shop that would resurface from time to time, like gargoyle’s cry or jade’s light. So the riven - eidolon connection is that people wanted max damage -> Godroll Rubico rivens as part of a speedrunning team setup -> Rubico rivens sell for ludicriously inflated prices.

I got one in 2017, my first year playing and I remember it was watching a stream. I didn't know it was that valuable, I remember saying it in the alliance chat and everyone called me a liar and to this day I understand why they did it. Actually, with this mod I started my eidolon hunt because I saw that the snipetron rifle was in the photo and I thought that rifle looked good. LOL
