Just southeast and southwest below Temple Fabrication/Grow site there is a "dam" separating the Coolant Reservoir and an upstream next to a cave. If you fish there there will be the warm and cold metal fishes that are trying to make their way up. This is a perfect spot to fish for like eternity to catching Brickie, Tinks, Eye-Eye, Recaster, Tromyzon. The tromyzon are there and will spawn on occasion. I tried the cave mentioned at 2:58 but didn't yield enough fish. Just southwest of the Space Port I tried out the cave which a player can grab abundance scrubbler, Mirewinder, and charamote. I haven't tried the bait yet so will do later once leveled enough. Update: Without bait, I was able to grab small amounts of synathid.

When Hold (M) to see the map , look bottom right of your screen you will see it , its shown in the video , warm last 4 min while cold lasts 22 min.

Here's a tip to capture a lot of fish; Use Volt, his 1st and 4th ability are shooting/emitting electricity, taget it in the direction of the fish and it will stun it and up for grabs, you still need to spear it but it does not require you to zap it again (like fishing in the Plains, just hit 'em), make sure to lower the Power Strength as low as possible so it won't damage the fish too much, so it will less yield basic fish, and more to the adorned and magnificent class, up the Power Range to stun more fish at once. Raise Power Efficiency if you want to, so you won't need to find energy much often, or bring energy module, though this part is optional.

Somehow only manage to catch 2 Synathids in the same hotspot where you're at in that cavern. Now its just nothing but Scrubbers and Mirewinders there each time I went back to fish. Not sure if DE did something with the spawn rate or so..

Iv gotten around 12 of them (Synathid) in a total of 3 hours. In caves, I found that they spawn frequently when : 1, No bait is placed 2, No dye is placed 3, when more then 4 - 6 other fish are present in the same body of water. I used the basic spear.

enuf bregante there are three levels of temperature in Orb Vallis where it goes from Warm>Cold>Freezing>Cold>repeat from warm. I think each lasts around 6 minutes each.
