Thing about rangers is that they complement bradleys well. Rangers injure helis with redeyes and bradleys finish it off with AC. Rangers take care of infantry with their recon and M16s, and bradleys take care of armor. They're expensive, but they are really good for each individual unit since they are not hard countered by anything really Also i think they're adding M113s for rangers in ALB :)

"HEAT" Stands for High Explosive Anti Tank. That is a shaped charge warhead indended to punsh through armour. It can be used against "soft targets" on very special occations, such as infantry fortified inside buildings etc. It does not spread fragmentation on its own, so if you want to use it against infantry you have to be creative. A hit in the wall directly under a window causes the wall mounted radiator to fragment across the room. For example. But normaly - no! HEAT rounds are for tanks.

Funny you say that. I have a Wargame gameplay coming this Friday! From now on its, one armoury tutorial (mon) and one gameplay (fri) a week for Wargame at least.

Yeh, I knew that don't worry. Just got confused, saying HEAT when I meant HE, and so on. Considering I do these tutorials from beginning to end in one stint without notes or script I like to think I do quite well.

HEAT rockets are shaped explosives meant for armor piercing and would barely scratch an infantry squad. Spetnaz have an HE rocket which just makes a large explosion ment for unarmored veaicals and infentry.

Another entertaining tutorial Vulcan. However, I would like to explain why a lot of good people use Dragon 2 squads. Fully vetted, they cost 30 points....while non vetted F2s cost 25. The chance of hitting something with a Dragon 2 at max distance is something like 50%.....which gives them an accuracy of 9 or 10. I have found vetted squads crit A LOT and have an extremely high fire rate. I can count on them to take out anything up to and including t-80's if well hidden in a town.

The counter to Bradleys is ATGMs, Rangers cannot deal with that either as they have AA, not AT.

True. Still, rifleman need to be buffed or dropped to 5 points price. I think they would be very popular 5 point infantry with, thus, a lot of room for vetting

I think somethink is being done about riflemen in the next patch. And even if not, they'll become popular because of the M113 which will remain one of very few armoured APC's in the game. All wheeled APC's are getting their armour nerfed.

The rocket launchers spetsnaz use launch thermobaric warheads its sort of like a anti material rocket

also i like your rifleman description "accuracy of 6, HE power of 1, cone with a bad AT weapon and come in an M113"LOL i think marines will be added to US as proper us inf, equal to legion famas, panzergrens, and paratroopers. if i'm not mistaken, they may also come in AAV-7A1s instead of bradleys (GL/MMG combo: SCORE!!!)

True, but did i say you have to ONLY have rangers in your Bradleys? You could easily cram a rifleman team or dragon II team in there. Yeah, not eh best solution, but you are just looking for an excuse to field brads after all :)

I hope they makeruse 2 in 2010 stle era on. Next gen consoles and pc. And you should be able to change every weapon the infantry use. With tanks wouldnt be that usefull

Good. Riflemen are crap if you dont vet them. I only use them in the worst M113s because i CAN vet them and still be within price range of the other infantry units. I hope they get better M72s, accuracy of the average GI in reality compared to the game is waaaaay off. Same for rifle accuracy
