Thanks for posting this. I had no idea they made them. I went to buy them, but whilst the box was US $29, postage to Australia from Firelock was US $72.71. Really appreciate the video, so kudos to you. I like the poison arrow aspect too. I'll see if I can source them elsewhere.

That's criminal! Is there some other way to get them over there? I have a similar conundrum with some decals I need from the U.K for another project - the postage is twice as much as the product!

It's OK. We 'foreigners' are used to the postal manipulation of a couple of US billionaires. After all, how do you think they made their billions? Not everyone is Bill Gates, out to both deliver something that makes the world better, then, when he has billions, setting up the foundations for charity he and his wife created. Some people - like two particular US billionaires - just think it is all about them and 'what the market will bear'. We get stock shipped here, so if I can secure them, it was meant to be. You keep posting stuff, nevertheless. You make the world a better place yourself. Cheers.

@@axisandaliens I got inspired and started to assemble the first of my two plastic Native AMericans boxes. So far so good but not totally happy. I do want to make as many with clubs or spears and somehow the box is a bit short on "empty" hands or fists (there are two), so when you do not want to do any archers you run into problems with one or two minis....not a big deal but it is obvious that they thought everyone will make some bowmen or musketeers. :)

@@tomisopp975 I hear you - it’s funny, I feel like I had to get a bit creative equipping everyone with bows. I thought they’d planned on people not making all the minis equipped the same way.

@@axisandaliens Which is a bit of a shame because you do get the weapons...nevermind, we will soldier on and come up with creative solutions. So far I have worked with three of their plastic boxes; sailors, milita and Native Americans...for me militia was the easiest to assemble.

The Natives are a rough one to start with as the arms/weapons can be a bit fiddly, but love the move to plastics. Hope you enjoy the game and crank out some more content!

My first miniature painting experience has been the Epic scale ACW miniatures. It was likely a mistake and I only managed to paint 12 stands. 6 union and 6 confederate. 5 infantry and one cannon per. I wish I'd gone for just 28mm because I feel a compulsion to do the details and at 13.5 those details are basically pointless. I also do not have surgeons hands so I struggle to maintain a steady hand at such scale.

Oh man, what a way to get into painting! I know exactly the minis you mean - I have them too, and they were the most monotonous figs I think I've ever painted. I would definitely try anything else before them. Alternatively you could just give them a wash and treat them a bit like board game pieces?

I listened to you ramble while I finished off some Flames of War stuff. I also prefer when games have their own line of models and accessible entry points. My buddy and I have been talking about getting into Test of Honour for awhile, but the lack of a true 2-player starter has been a barrier.

​@@axisandaliens I'm slowly working my way through the FoW Hit the Beach starter. I'm just about done with the Germans, but I still have the Americans left to do. It started as a Covid project, but I keep getting distracted by other things. A shopping list for Test of Honour would be great. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I have found it hard to figure out what a good entry point would even look. I even asked some vendors at Historicon this year and they had no idea. 🤷‍♂
