Since Chaos reflects reality (and vice-versa), specifically the emotions and souls of sentient beings, the Warp must be extremely calm, empty or even non-existent in the intergalactic void. And other galaxies with other sentient lifeforms (assuming the Tyranids didn't eat all of them) would have their own, different Warp and Chaos entities therein.

I think the concept in this case, revolves around the idea that emotions are turbulent by nature (if one would be able to transpose them into their own dimension). Also, I did read in a couple of HH novels (i think) that the warp used to be much more calm in the early days like the age of technology.

Great video GrimDark Narrator, I'm creating my own fan made chaos god character named Segonoth the Great Darkness King, the Chaos god of sinister, ruthless, bitterness and darkness, also he have his own realm, greater daemons, lesser daemons, beast daemons, daemon princes, and etc. And this god like other chaos gods have many names too.

I'm rewatching this video and I have to say (possibly for yet another time): I actually prefer this type of a less formatted video rather than the section and more rigidly formatted videos you're currently producing. I love all of your content, but I feel it's more personable in this video's format.

I'm not entirely sure what you did differently but it felt more personal and like you were talking to an individual rather than an audience. Either way, I LOVE your content and I will ALWAYS watch/listen!

Are there any books where the chaos gods actually appear in person and talk?

Although the presentation and perspectives vary wildly across dozens/hundreds of 40k stories, one thing to know about the chaos gods is that they are more elemental in nature than they are actual individuals. They are less likely to appear/talk as an individual than a hurricane is likely to appear as a person. There might be some obscure reference in some story about someone interacting directly with a chaos god, but in the overwhelming majority of chaos shenanigans, they interact with the material universe via proxies or vague manifestations.

@@GrimDarkNarrator this is pretty much true, the gods are too powerful to be summoned fully into the materium unlike the daemons they create and the daemon princes, if this was the case, the materium would have been screwed the very second someone idiodic enough ro summon the chaos gods themselves
