Great to see you've covered Mutants as a topic GDN . They are, regardless of sentiments tovvards them , an extremely neccessary evil . For vvithout them navigators couldnt steer ships through the vvarp nor vvould the Astartes have a Librarious nor the Astra Militarum be able to call upon the strength of the Ogryn units or battle psychers . The Imperium simply needs them no matter hovv shunned they may be , & lets not forget the increasing need for the psychic variety to povver daily the beloved Emperors Golden Throne......DAMN! Good point...but you fail to point out how difficult it is to tell the difference between a normal mutant and a chaos warped traitor. The first is vital the second can doom worlds with billions of people on them from as little as a handful. The ability to easily tell the difference alone would improve life in the imperium tremendously as well as increase security, but chaos keeps shifting how it looks so it cant happen. "Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand realise that you have no right to let them live!"

the imperium is so messed up with how it treats normal humans already, but it seems like if not for arch-douchebag Horus the mutants would have maintained the higher socisl standard they "enjoyed" prior to their participation in his rebellion. after all the troubles psykers and other mutants caused in the age of strife AND Horus heresy I can't really blame normal humans for their fear or hatred of mutation. would be cool if Guilliman could allow them to be treated more humanely, but I can't imagine it's a high enough priority for him to risk another civil war over it. sorry mutants, should have stayed loyal 10k years ago!

the missed up thing about is that they did"t even know about chaos the were just being loyal by falling Horus cause the emperor of mankind gave him that role so to follow Horus is to obey the emperor not to fall is seen as heresy i find it more funny that space marines play a even bigger role in the Horus heresy than they did and got of Scott free
