It feels like they basically created their own version of Darktide within the Operations Mode, which is pretty nuts!

Every fps/tps nowdays has at least 3 modes, call of duty for all the trash in it still has campaign, coop, pvp and battle royale every damn year. Maybe it’s not about the modes but rather the quality of them?

@@YorkReacts I think maybe the word “ambitious” would apply to developers who make games like The Finals & Helldivers who are ambitious enough to create its own success within a realm of popular Titles. I just think the standard of “ambitious” has been lowered so much that we’re here in 2024 saying “WOW, this game has campaign, co-op and pvp”?!! When great games 15-20yrs ago for example..it was the standard to release complete games with those modes. This game is basically a Gears of War set in warhammer 40k universe. Don’t get me wrong I think it looks super cool and trailer was well done but I wouldn’t call it an ambitious title. Curious, what do you consider ambitious this title?

@_JaxxiBoy This is an ambitious game. Three modes day one and more coming after release. Games back then only either came with a campaign or campaign and multiplayer not THREE modes with high tier resolution, scaling, and graphics not to mention the thousands of actual enemies and ally npcs rendered in with swarm technology. No game other than world War z has done this. The Warhammer games haven't been a main popular game in over ten years. Don't know why you're not seeing this as a massive W in gaming because it is and that's a fact.

@@ghandigreen I recall Gears of War games all having Campaign, Co Op, Horde and PvP at launch along with COD, having Campaign, Spec Ops, and PvP (multiplayer) at launch in the earlier days. Like is said in my response comment, I feel like we’ve lowered our standard in what is “ambitious” nowadays because as gamers have been jaded by these AAA developers releasing half ass games. I’m not saying that will be the case here…and I did say trailer looks badass and hope it works out. My only take was thinking this game being mentioned as “ambitious” when it’s 90% of what we’ve seen before. Agreed, the additional enemies on screen is really cool but we’ve seen games do that like DaysGone (to an extent) World War Z, it’s a nice touch but I don’t think it’s life changing in my honest opinion.

I know nothing about the Warhammer Universe Lore,but i was very interested in what project this Studio would do after the Heavily Underrated World War Z game came out. Idk if youve played it but the Swarm Tech is really damn good and with many Visual Highlights. The only things i ask for with the Single player Mode is 1. Armor/Gun/Loadout Customization 2. The ability to tweak how my AI Teammates play and customize their Weapons and armor so it feels like my own Personal Unit.

For the campaign you won't have much customization, it's Ultramarines so they're blue, it wouldn't make sense to be a different colored Ultramarine. It's why they've shown all the customization available for the co-op/vs modes.

they already showed all the gun and loadout customization, you can change all of that, but it will all be blue themed for story purposes, in the multiplayer it's much, much deeper

Thanks for making this video, feel like I got some insight as to how much effort has been put into this game. It brings on the realisation that Focus and Saber have gone all in to make this game, soo they are not gonna take chances of fing this game up. Hence the non public beta and the focus on polishing the game for release. Star Wars battlefront 2 was gonna be huge, but EA rushed it through and we got an unfinished game. I think and hope that is not the case with this game. If it comes out with everything shown so far with no game breaking bugs then this game disserves to be a huge hit.

Played the first one and it was great but the enemies (orcs) were the same and it felt repetitive at times. I was very drawn into the story so i kept playing it.

For a while this year, I thought I had nothing substantial to look forward to in terms of gaming. Space Marine 2 changed my mind for sure. If it delivers on what it's promising, the swarm technology holding up and not killing PC's left and right, this will be a Game of the Year contender in my book as a 40K fan.

A lot of the modes they have planed for this game were also in Space Marine 1 though. THe game looks good but the special effects are exaggerated to a degree i worry if it'll damage the experience. It's annoying when they've add extra flashes of light that shouldn't be there since it'll blockk the vision of what matter. (much rather see a light blue slash across the body of an enemy than having a giant flash of blue light on impact)

I was kinda hyped for this game til i saw this trailer, it literally looks like a WWZ reskin, even the abilities/perks and weapons upgrades are exactly the same as WWZ, and i say this as someone who enjoyed WWZ, but that game doesn't have a lot of depth and it gets boring really fast, i played intensely for like 3 weeks last year and didn't play again since then, it just doesn't have a lot going on for it and it's too repetitive. I really hope they put more variety of content on this one, specially on PvE, if it's just another WWZ on that matter, i dunno if the game is going to last very long.

Really I haven’t played that game yet so I wouldn’t know if it feels like a reskin. Looks super fun to me. But I could see it getting repetitive. There is a lot of factions in warhammer though so they have lots of other options for other enemies and combat we haven’t seen yet that could make it into the game. I got high hopes for it

If really think you underestimate one single factor : It's a Warhammer 40k game. Warhammer 40k have a huge community and fans of this franchise have been waiting for this game for 13 years ! This game will not appeal to everybody, but it will be successful enough for Saber and Focus, especially if they sell skins for multiplayer mode. Hundred thousands of players awaiting this game like the messiah, and i only hope they don't fucked up the launch because of bugs and optimisation.
