I honestly wasn’t expecting a fully fleshed-out class system for the co-op; maybe that’ll mean we actually get a meaningful skill tree in the single player campaign? The campaign will have 3 set characters to play as inlcuding titus that each have their own ultimate ability. Maybe each character is one of the 6 classes but i dont expect to be aboe to swap classes at will for the campaign.

Whilst the game is clearly Primaris centric, I really hope we'll get a customization option for decking out our characters with older firstborn armors too. Mk 6 Beakie and Mk 7 Aquila armors are very iconic and it would be a massive shame if they get left out.

Make your loyalist marine in Alpha Legion colours so you can always be Alpharius. I read about someone doing this on the table top to save money. They were going to have a loyalist Primaris army but paint them all as Alpha Legion and then if they wanted to play Chaos they could use them as Legionnaires.

@@alexmauney9705 I had no real hope for it, but my buggy bois are why I care about 40K, so them being just antagonists in Campaign and PvE makes me sad. I'll also be a bit miffed if the CSMs have zero differentiation from the regular Marines. That makes the most sense as it means balance is that both sides are at immediate parity and you just need to deal with internal stuff across the kits and not the VS level. No Asymmetrical gameplay is easier. But the Chaos fans deserve some love too, they're not just spikier Loyalists. If there is different stuff, it's a bigger slap in the face cause Nids are in the campaign and they should have already done all the work to make them good enemies there. Oh well, knew it wasn't going to happen from the jump so it's no worse than when it was announced

What concerns me about the customization is that if you look closely in the trailer the armor color is different but the insignia on the shoulder is still the Ultramarines Omega. I hope they have different chapter heraldry and can handwave other chapters being in a largely Ultramarine operation.

Starwars Battlefront 1 way back on the first xbox was able to make huge maps feel full of life. It's called throwing in a bunch of NPC folks on each side of the war with your players. And frankly I'd like to see that sometime future. A bunch of Loyalist Marines and NPC IG on one side, Chaos Marines with Cultists and / traitor guard on the other, and maybe some world stages with a down the middle batch that hate everyone, kinda like the Jawas on the Old StarWars Battlefront games, tell me that wouldn't be a grand time. Well some granted wouldn't think so, but they were the same ones who whined about Titanfall having to protect their own side's non player NPC fighters forgetting that sometimes as a hero in war you're suppose to protect people too, not just be a DPS death machine. Or at least, not everyone.

I do hope they add a campaign for the CSM equivalent co-op campaign. Be super cool to let you show off your character in not just mp. Mp isn't really something I have too much interest in long term. So being able to play as my CSM in a co-op setting would be dope. WWZ in terms of content very recently got an update. Years later and it is still being supported. So I think we should be good for SM2.
