An old d&d troll story; a party once had a steel can with a screw lid crafted and after killing a troll put some inside. Then whenever they wanted good they'd open the lid, slice off a slab as it grew, then slap in into the fire for instant emergency troll steaks, before immediately screwing the lid back on.

I like the ingenuity, but I don't like the Idea of eating troll. Not only does the meat taste like rotting poison, and should one fail to sear the steak through you'll have a very bad time, but the trolls are also sentient creatures in the D&D canon.

Been playing a lot of 8th Ed Ogres. Just played a really fun game against Vampire Counts at 2k with 3 wizards and lots of close combat. Was able to near wipe the VC. Trollguts is an auto take for me.
