It is a pretty strange campaign. VC like to hold major settlement port but vampire corruption takes a lot of time to spread. I wonder if just going in lustria and take kill the vampure mutineer isn't the easiest way. Pretty interesting to see what's legend's idea on this one.

@@Minodrec Idk, I've always played Noctilus like a raider in Ulthuan, never taking a city (until Malekith shows up and the high-elfs are weak enough for you to get away with it) and just sacking, raising and building pirate cove. You would be surprise how quickly you can level up when you have enough mobility to always attack undefended settlements

I've played Mazdamundi legendary and the Norscans are indeed a pain in the ass, but more so for their marauder champion spam than anything. I can't quite remember how I dealt with them, I know that I made more skink javelins with Mazdamundi super early than I usually do and try to push into them quickly before they build up. It gets tricky once they hunker down in Skeggi with the unique building giving them even more marauder champs than before. You have to try and bait their army into your closest settlement and ambush them there and quickly counterattack before they build a new stack. Attacking their full strength in the settlement is nigh impossible.

Yeah, its so stupid. I've tried a couple different approaches including rushing to colonize the settlement near Skeggi and attacking them asap, but in a spam of a single turn their 4-5 marauder army turns into an experienced champion spam. Really infuriating

This video inspired me to start clan mors campaign. I had always disliked skaven but clearly was not doing things right. This is the most fun ive had in a while now. Might go for the full clear although ill probably get bored halfway through and start over like always

Unfortunately this strategy does not work anymore. I've restarted my game 4 times using this exact strategy but every time on turn 3, Arachnos raids my territory and then attacks with 2 armies on turn 4. Thanks for the great content. I look forward to every video.

A tip for situation like at 22:12 when you have lots of pop-ups that you want to get rid of: just spam the ESC key as fast as you can, and each press will remove one, including the advisor.

I've found the key is to take out Pestilens within the first 5-10 turns . Corsairs murder whatever he can field in the beginning.

You don't pay for the second engineer over capacity via ritual on 32:03:00? there is no penalty for over limit or smth? Also now you can upgrade the catapul building, do you do it immediately? Because upgraded one is good vs big targets and I am not sure if it is ok vs dwarfs on early game. Maybe plague shots are even better vs cheap dwarfs.

if RNGesus blesses you on the chance to expand the under empire, you'll wind up with a pile of food and gold. especially helps if you send out a warlock engineer around the map just setting up under cities on the richest cities (ie lothern). been able to run super aggressive campaigns because of all the extra income and food

Unfortunately this does not work anymore due to the food requirements being increased to 120 food for a T4 settlement instead of 80 and the Ork AI works differently now and will not attack as easily.

Perhaps not a subtle difference, a 5% chance to expand under-empire means more than a 50% chance to occur within 14 turns. A 10% chance to expand means more than 50% chance to occur within 7 turns.

It's almost a bonus for the skaven that they get all settlements at lvl 1 since you can sack a city into oblivion with no negative repercussions if you want to occupy it later

Yeah; its like most people just want le mega epic battle with numbers over numbers and just troops smashing their heads in; which is fine; but honestly; if you want to WIN a legendary campaign; do one of these battles without having a plan or pulling some tactical moves; and yeah....you will literally lose a whole stack of expensive troops to some force marched; jagged band of bandits...its ridiculous; but thats nothing new on legendary. Were playing with cheating AI; may as well "cheese"; aka not just accept death.
