Just started playing and I am loving it and having a lot of fun so far, a lot more fun than I was having with D4. My favorite 40k game at the moment, although I have not gotten Space Marine 2 yet, waiting for a deeper sale on that one.

For some reason I cant figure out why this is the only game I have ever played where I cant get enough of the tedious grind

The admin is slickly designed. I personally think that’s the biggest reason. The game lets you process a lot of loot very quickly, and level your character in seconds so you can play another game. The mission length is solid too, for a drop in, drop out game so it’s a go to if you don’t have a ton of time.

Kind of a miss making a 40k themed arpg that doesn't have classes from different factions with their own skilltrees

I think you're right. They could have at least set it up for bigger expansions. But perhaps it just wasn't successful enough for them to justify. The models were all there.

It does Diablo with guns very well. It’s gets repetitive though. But there is a lot there. You could play this one for a thousand hours and not run out of stuff to do. 18 characters with several viable builds a piece. More levels than I can count with end game.

I just got the Imperium edition today on Playstation store for $6! I don't even know anything about warhammer, looks great!

Considering all you get with the game, that seems like a great deal. But then I rarely feel bad about spending less than $15 for a game. Even if I only play it for a few hours.

That's kind of the thing with CRPG's. People who say balance is everthing don't get it. Take diablo 2, widely considered the greatest in the genre... and it's a hilariously unbalanced mess. All the ways you can break the game is exactly what makes it timeless.

I played it for 40 minutes, refunded it and installed Path of Exile. 😅 The controls are just too terrible for me.

The game has died so many times now, that it is now undead. Almost like the emperor of mankind itself. This means that the game will last for millenia to come! While the enemy draws breath, there can be no peace!

sadly its extremely boring and repetitive. unlike other games in which u want to hunt down the best gear and uniques this game has no uniques, just random generated items which feel the same as all the other stuff. as the creatures level as you do, and weapons and so on it just feels very boring late into the game

There are some uniques at this point, but honestly, chasing that grind isn't as rewarding as the crazy uniques in Diablo 4. And I don't think the skills lend as well to creating builds in this game. So I definitely can't argue with your assessment!

Diablo 4 has 2 builds that work at torment 4. Lol i swear consumers ie gamers are getting so dumb. This game and all the dlc was 17.99. How you can even compare that to a 110 dollar game idk. You can craft whatever you need. I still have barely scratched the surface but this game respects your time, d4 doesnt. 14 bricked tempers i am done with blizzard. And i used the scroll and literally got the exact same rolls. 0/2 usable rolls. Fu blizzard.
