Those Black Orc minis are among my favourite GW minis of all time. Characterful, appropriately violent, and still holding up next to the more modern sculpts.

They’re fun minis, and you’re right they hold up pretty well.

@@MiniatureRealms - Yep. Kind of sad they weren't up for pre-order yet, but hopefully shortly. Then the krumpin' begins!

Very nice. Certainly closer to parade ready than a basic battle ready. I don’t use an airbrush so this is very helpful.

Thank you 😊. I use an airbrush a lot, and often describe how things can be achieved without, but was good to be able to demonstrate that this time.

Great video. The Black Orc looks sweet. That said, super disappointed now the Orc and Goblin range is here as it’s way more than I’m willing to pay. I’ve never been a complainer about £££ as I appreciate it’s a hobby and a luxury but the price points for some of the Gobbos are eye watering really.

Thank you 🙂 I’m not sure what I feel about it really, it’s kind of what I expected I guess. There’s a lot of old classics there, and they’re never going to sell metals cheap. I think as more gets released in wave 2, we will see more returning plastics, and that’s the affordable way to build an army. I mean £47.50 for 31 Orcs is really quite good for modern GW prices, and the Battalion box is good value as well. To be clear I’m not comparing to third part miniatures or 3d printing though. I guess if you wanted to build whole units from the returning metals and resins, it would get very expensive quickly. Apart from Questing Knights I didn’t pick up any of the metals for my Brets.

Amazing work as usual! Can’t help to think this was a missing opportunity to see you paint some black armor tho 😅 Struggling to find a decent technique for us mortals non-NMM painters 😂

Thank you 🙂 I chose the metallic scheme on this because I did an easy black armour in the Chaos Warrior tutorial I did, not sure if you’ve seen that one?
