Thanks for doing these video tutorials, Ken. You and Stuart are helping a lot of people who would like to get into Napoleonic gaming, but might be a bit overwhelmed at the prospect. As soon as my French arrive I plan to put your instruction to good use! Also, add me to the list of those who would like a basing video.

Nicely done very effective use of the contrast paints, I think they come into their own for these figures.

Great video. It would have been nice if you mentioned the other paint colors you used on the greatcoats.

Mon Dieu, they do look nice all painted up. Skeleton Horde is how I base painted my AWI in linen hunting shirts. It’s rumored that WI will include an infantry sprue in a few months so I may need to come back to this and take notes on the whole sequence.

Great video and I will use it on my 28mm French while waiting for my epic scale French army to arrive in the New Year :). Be great if you do have time to do one on basing the epic stands and looking forward to the next video on painting the figures in campaign dress :)

Very nicely done. Looks great and not overly complicated. I absolutely would like to see how you based them. I’ve yet to paint something this scale so looking for as many techniques as I can before I get my order.

Nice paint job. Do you paint with the naked eye or a magnifier? Amazing if its the former.

Great painting guide, still not sure to go the whole way into the epic napolionics but do like the figures, was wondering whether in this scale they would pass as Mexicans with various figures from the acw dismounted cavalry and skirmishers to make the alamo in this scale might not be to accurate but I can always say I based it on the John Wayne film.

It's not that likely that in 1815, many of Napoleon's infantry would have lost their own and found greatcoats from the enemy. There wasn't that much time from the first clashes at the frontier to Waterloo.
