That top cap isn't really meant as a seal, is it? The valve o-ring should do the sealing, correct? The Nylog will make a seal on it now.

I noticed when you marked the time clock, you just put a line on the dial and looked to see if it moved. Here a helpful tip. On the inner dial where you set defrost time, the coppper pointer width is exactly 5 minutes. Mark the timer dial on the leading edge of the copper pointer and wait 5 minutes. Your mark should now be on the trailing edge of the copper pointer. 👍

I hate leaks I would rather something be broken I don't care what it is. I had a leak on a duel pressure switch hi-side was rubbing of course. 1am emergency at a ice cream place. The manager was like we need this running at all cost. So I took some copper I had for a humidifier and made a coupler and got it going. I go look this is a 100% repair. Ideally I would have replaced the switch but this will work period. Do you want me to come back? He said no I trust you. This was about 3 year's ago. I stopped by with my son (17). I take him on job's. Showed him the repair he goes WTF? I go sometimes you have to think outside of the box. Lol

Coming to a reefer near you......its Rick D and his band...... DJ Inficon D-Tek on the leaks.....R404a on the bass........and Start/Run Cap on the drums......making reefer music and panties dropping. 😆 🤣 😂
