I cant really decide on which lip stain, But if i have to choose, i would coose the 04 one- it gives off a more bold look and considering you have a lighter skin tone, darker will look good on u. Basically making you lips stand out..BUT of course it depends on where you are going!!

There use to be a thing in I think the 70's in the States where you were a season. I think they tried bring it back in the earlier 2000's. Winter and Summer were considered cool skin tones. Spring and Fall were warm skin tones. I think both look good on you but I think it depends on what outfit and time of day. The softer tones look nice in the day because you don't that extra contrast. Where the bolder color pops at night.

Its called Color Me Beautiful and yes been around since the 1980s in America and Europe and yes it is still a thing❗ It is split into season colors Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall Autumn and everyone has one of these season color palettes that suit them best.

I haven’t heard of personal color analysis before in the States, but Westerners often look up to Korea when it comes to beauty trends, so it will likely become a trend here if it hasn’t already. I had my colors done a couple of years ago. I was diagnosed as a summer, wearing cooler, softer tones. It has made it easier to shop, though, so we know what colors already look good on you.

I have heard of this to do with fashion and clothes. I was studying fashion and they do talk about cool or warm based skin colours but also broke it down to 4 other categories winter, autumn, spring and summer. It's about which colours suit you best and flatter you the most. It's really interesting and it would make sense that this would apply to make up too 🙂 generally pple of Asian descent fit into the cool toned category, specifically the winter profile. But as with everything there are always exceptions to the rule. If you look at the veins on ur wrist if they are bluish then you are cool toned. If they are yellow or warm coloured then you are warm toned.

Yes Anna in the UK and Europe since the 1980s and called Color Me Beautiful from America, you missed it❗ The colour palettes are based around the seasons and everyone has one season that suits them best. I had a consultation done for my mother and I also did a mini course in it.

In the UK, I think we kinda do this ourselves but just off what suits us best. I can tell what compliments my skin tone and what doesn’t so I naturally gravitate towards those colours 😋

whenever I'm shopping with my mom and sister to buy fabric we always hold up the fabric to our face. I didn't realize later that it had to do with warm vs cool tones. I just thought "does this color look good on me?"

Hi Anna, I live in the states and a few years ago we had this company that did your colors. This company did makeup only. I think it was loosely based on skin tone and hair color. I had it done. The woman who did my makeup was Asian, she put foundation in my skin that made me look lighter and more white and used blood red lipstick. I guess I was a cool tone. The make over was free but you have to by their skin products. In clothes since I work in the office, I did my own colors. I prefer black, navy blue and charcoal grey in suits and coats. Most office clothes come in those colors. And those colors are very slimming to anyone’s figure.

I think you're actually cool tone tho coz the warm tone makeup makes brings out the yellows in your skin tone but the cool tone makeup makes your skin tone look bright but sort of neutral, like you don't look too yellow but you don't look ashy either.
