Welcome to the channel! In this video, we dive into the world of Warmoth and their incredible guitar necks. If you're not familiar with @warmoth , they're your go-to destination for custom guitar bodies, necks, and hardware. You can build your dream guitar to your exact specifications with their top-notch components.
A few years ago, I embarked on a parts caster build inspired by my buddy Steven Barton. That's when I stumbled upon a used Warmoth neck and instantly fell in love with it. It's a Telecaster baritone conversion neck, and it's an absolute gem. Fast forward to today, and I finally present this video, with a little help from Aaron and the Warmoth team. Yep, this video is technically sponsored, but trust me, I genuinely love these necks.
The star of this build is the exquisite roasted maple Warmoth baritone conversion neck. It's smooth, stable, and simply fantastic. I've added some other components like a Guitar Fetish body, Guitar Fetish pickups, and a Hipshot bridge. It's a unique blend of parts that came together beautifully.
In terms of specs, this baritone conversion neck turns a standard Telecaster into a long-scale beauty, perfect for those lower tunings. The roasted maple neck and fretboard provide exceptional stability and tuning accuracy. The nut width and neck profile are comfortable, and it's equipped with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets for a savage playing experience. I've kept it clean with no neck dots or markers, just sleek black side dots.
To enhance tuning stability, I opted for a black Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and it sports a clear satin nitro finish. The GoToLocking mini locking tuners are the cherry on top.
If you're in the market for a baritone or considering a parts caster build, Warmoth conversion necks are top-tier. They effortlessly fit into any standard Fender Telecaster pocket, and I couldn't be happier with the fit. I'm even planning my next build with another Warmoth neck.
Check out Warmoth's website for a vast array of custom options, from body shapes to finishes. It's a rabbit hole worth exploring, trust me.
A massive shoutout to Aaron and the Warmoth team for their support and patience. I apologize for the delay in making this video, and I want to be accountable for that.
That's all for today, folks. Thanks for watching, and be sure to visit warmoth.com for your guitar-building needs. Stay tuned for more, and as always, take care and be useful to someone. See you in the next one!
