Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is the second of five all new adventures in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World™.
At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
The film features an ensemble cast led by Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. The cast also includes, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech.
“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. The film is produced by David Heyman, J.K. Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.
Slated for release on November 16, 2018, the film will be distributed worldwide in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

santiago carreño i don’t hate it but one thing that i didn’t enjoy was that the first part fealt like an ending. And though i am glad we are getting new movies a problem with that is now the movie needs to find new reasons to why the original characters will be involved in the story i also hat that the characters just happen to be where everything is happening in the right spot at the right time. Pluss they try way to hard to make Newt a huge part of the story. In the 1st one he was just a regular dude in a larger story. In this one Dumbledore makes him about to be this really important chosen one when in fact he really isn’t. He’s just a regular guy wanting to do his own thing. I will say that i enjoyed the film a bit but its probably my least favourite in the franchise so far.

Ehm, Dumbledore couldn't fight Voldemort himself. Harry had to do it, because in the end Voldemort had to kill him and Dumbledore was the only powerful magician who didn't seek to overpower Harry and at the same time have a pure heart. Dumbledore knew that his heart wasn't pure and although refusing to be overwhelmed by power for so many years, in the end he realized himself that the thirst for power he had when he was younger was not entirely over, because he couldn't resist putting on the Gaunt ring.

The first long book I ever read was Harry Potter and I fell in love with it. Being able to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in theatres as they come out is honestly a dream come true. J. K. Rowling is really a literary genius and the whole Harry Potter franchise which may have a few flaws, has so much potential and so many more stories that could come from it. I have already planned to watch every single Fantastic Beasts movie with my best friend, and it’s just truly amazing how she can write a story or rather a franchise that spans generations.
