10 years later this song still hits that spot. Still gets the blood pumping and memories flowing. It make my heart hurt every time I see her. Every time I see eyes close to hers, I look away. Every time I see the sunlight reflected from something, I see her smile. Every time I sleep or close my eyes, I hear her laughter and I can't get it out of my head. My beating heart keeps me awake at night because it longs for her. I miss the smell of her hair and how it felt so amazing every time I kissed her. I need to let go of this pain until this echo echo echo in my mind Until this echo echo echo can subside. There is no time to waste asking why. I'd have ran away with you. By my side. I need to let go let go let go of this pain until this echo echo echo can subside.

LYRICS: Close my eyes Let the whole thing pass me by There is no time To waste asking why I'll run away with you by my side I'll run away with you by my side I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride Yeah (asking why) I think about your face And how I fall into your eyes The outline that I trace Around the one that I call mine Time that called for space Unclear where you drew the line I don't need to solve this case And I don't need to look behind Close my eyes Let the whole thing pass me by There is no time To waste asking why I'll run away with you by my side, I'll run away with you by my side I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride Yeah, asking why Do I expect to change The past I hold inside With all the words I say Repeating over in my mind Some things you can't erase No matter how hard you try An exit to escape Is all there is left to find Close my eyes Let the whole thing pass me by There is no time To waste asking why I'll run away with you by my side I'll run away with you by my side I need to let go, let go, let go, let go of this pride Until this echo, echo, echo, echo, in my mind Until this echo, echo, echo, echo, can subside So I close my eyes Let the whole thing pass me by There is no time To waste asking why I'll run away with you by my side I'll run away with you by my side I need to let go, let go, let go, let go, of this pride Until this echo, echo, echo, echo in my mind Until this echo, echo, echo, echo can subside

I use to sit and listen to stuff like this and wonder what my future would be like who id end up with. Well my husband grew up down the street. We hung out as kids liked each other but neither of us made a move. Went about our lives and met up again 8 years ago. Been together ever since. If you find something that special it will find its way back somehow. I love you wesley baker your wife sarah.

I was feet from them watching this song in Hartford, CT years before meeting my husband and making this our song. Still moves me. This song is still my husband's ringtone when I call.

Many times I found myself listening to Trapt Staind and Breaking Benjamin as a youth. A holy Trinity of mine for sure

The chords in this song are killer. Really heavy but carries so much melody throughout

This is and will always be my favorite song!! I listened to this song on repeat when I was a teen and hearing it now takes me back to that moment and everything I was experiencing. I absolutely love Trapt, your voice is soothing and sensual.❤️
