What does age have to do with driving a Sentra? Any car with a CVT, no matter what car manufacturer, they aren't meant to be racing in. BTW, your comments about the CVT are irrelevant and false. Stop reliving 2007 through 2019 like the other masses you're part of hating. Nissan fixed and updated the CVT starting with the 2020s. Newer Nissan's with the CVT is even way better and more reliable. Sentra's are damn good cars. This review F'in sucks as many times as you used it.

Nissans good if you drive their not sport lines unlike sports cars. CVT are good under 3k RPM and the sport isn’t really for anything but accelerating on Highway if you need a merge or pass someone real quick. Generally though Sentra and Versa are reliable economy cars. Light on gas if you don’t idle, use cruise control, and keep RPM below 2k. Stock sound system isn’t bad. Interior is heavy plastic but again it’s an entry level car. Easy to finance or pay outright cash if you can. Want more sport or luxury go with a Z or Skyline. Otherwise it’s a commuter. I have the 2017 Sentra S. I'm a mobile auto detailer and it still looks showroom new in 2024. I would never show it to you in the condition of the car in this video, but then, it has never been in that condition. This guy needs me. Anyway, my CVT was replaced 3 days before the 5 year warranty expired. I went in for an oil change and the dealer said they would replace it and gave me an Altima to drive until it was finished. I did not ask them, they told me. The bill was $5209.95, but they only charged me 9.95 for the oil change; the transmission was free. You have 159 HP and complaining? Mine has 139 HP and will go 0-60 in about 3 months. I learned early on never to think about passing an 18 wheeler, and it is forbidden to pass anyone on a 2 lane road. It simply isn't capable of it. I get about 37 MPG. Not because I drive like an "old" guy (even though I am), but because I know the limitations of my car and stay within them. Pushing the gas harder gets you nowhere faster, it only burns more gas. The Sentra S is the bottom of the line (mine was $18,640), so I expect no more, but I no longer have a car payment and don't anticipate having one either. I paid it off in 54 months. I would rather have a Mercedes, but it has never failed me and it fits me. It has 65,000 miles on it and I haven't even had to replace the brakes yet. I had Nissan replaced the battery 6 years in for less than $200 and that's it. I've seen cars of it's model year that looked like shit, yet mine is not like those (or like the one in the video inside). I've seen people driving 20 and 30 year old cars, and mine will be one of those at some point, but will still be immaculate. I'm buying a motorcycle to keep the miles off of it and just drive it to the store and in the rain. Living with a forever car payment is like a ball and chain, unless of course your income is such that it doesn't matter. In which case, I wouldn't buy a Sentra, even as much as I love mine. This is my second Sentra, replacing a 2015 I had before it. It will however be the last. If I were to buy another car (which is unlikely), it would not have a CVT and would have at least 150 HP. Make no mistake, if that transmission had actually failed 1 day after the warranty period, I would be fit to be tied and would be pissed off. There are small things I would change, but overall I do love my car. I wish I didn't have to use a key to start it! LOL!

lol 2 minutes in and all his complaints are personal preferences, CVT isn't bad enough it's an automatic Transmission unless you're getting manual they are all the same, The screen and Bluetooth are premium with multiple interfaces and ways to access touch or knob and 3-4 different ways to connect your car. I think you got the wrong car because this car drives like a high end premium véhicule shifting and safety features that are useful, the transmission is no problem so far it will last if used with love the ICC makes it even more comfortable to drive.

Too bad, you did like your Sentra. I have a 2021 Sentra SR and it ran and drive fine when driving like a normal person. It's get great mpg Average 35 MPG Mix Hwy/City in 20 to 30 Degree Temperatures. I cannot complain...It has zero gravity seats and it very comfortable. Looks great and fuel efficient. 400 Miles average for a tank of gas.

Why did you buy it? Did you buy it sight unseen? Before you buy a car you should test drive it. Literally everything you complained about can be seen after one test drive or read it in a consumer review. Sentra's have not changed for years. Sound like you want a muscle car ...just go buy one. That's like me buying a Chevy Cruze and expecting it to be an Chevy Impala. You bought a economy car.

This was just an awful rant with lots of curse words. I bought this car to commute from pa to new jersey. I put 35k miles on it since last march and i average 34.9 mpg. The car is an absolute dog but name another car with that size for that price point. A civic turbo is 5-6k more expensive. The car handles like a $22k car. If you knew the cvt was trash and still bought it thats your own fault.

Of course i only had it for 3 months so i still need to see about the cvt i never had one before. my mpg i get about 40. and yeah you are comparing it to sports cars haha your not use to the eco cars. give it a chance 2000 miles is nothing. at 6k im still not use to it from driving an sti modded.
