It’s a very simple choice. Support characters are infinitely more time proof than any other. Especially in a game that barely has a roster of supports in the first place. Her sig weapon might be a must pull aswell, since it boost team dmg aswell, it’s the premium support weapon.

This argument doesn't hold in WuWa, at least for now. Most of the buffing is through rejuvenating glow set + bell, which literally everyone can do. Verina and Shorekeeper obviously are way comfier and provide buffs on top, but in WuWa, they sacrifice time for it, which actually means staying a bit on your DPS/sub DPS for a bit longer instead doesn't make you lose that much damage. So yes, lmited supports ARE good, they are NOT a necessity at all, so pull the character you want the most, and it most likely won't grief you.

If you know about the Vanguard class of PGR (a product of Kuro Game), you will know that the class is very strong but only gets single challenges because they will be severely weakened when paired with normal character classes. Youhu is Hybrid Support. Kinda like Jianxin. Youhu provide 100% Coordinate Attack on outro, has heal with reso skill, and Atk% scaling. She's not super flexible but can works on team that use Yinlin, Zhezhi and Mortefi.

imo 4* characters are not worth investing in in this game I built mortefi, get the 5* pistol and echo set for him end up never use the guy since i have both Yinlin and Zhezhi. don't really care much about the last 2 floors in ToA so 2 teams are quite easy to buid and keep up with meta

I've already been able to 30/30 ToA as a f2p since before Xiangli Yao and only 2 limited 5 stars (Jiyan and Changli). Plus, I've been waiting for Camellya since we first saw her and I never really cared much for Shorekeeper (don't get me wrong, she is very pretty). I also never cared for pull value in the Gacha games I play, only pulling the ones that appeal to me design or lore-wise. F2p will have a way better futureproof character in Shorekeeper but I've already been set on Camellya and to me it isn't even close. But hey, may all Shorekeeper or Camellya wanters be their havers.

I do need some good luck ^^. But you forgot too mention that verina isn't all that special. Against bosses, especially for players that don't have the quickswap skills, healing is almost a waste of time since learning too dodge is just straight up far superior (this might change drastically with future new bosses with passive area effects for example). Verina's main feature is that she has an incredibly short rotation where she gets a lot of concerto energy. If shore keeper doesn't have that her buffs have too compensate for the time loss. So your advice too wait a few days too summon for shorekeeper is probably very valid.

Easiest choice of my life, another “good” healer is very much something i need. Not to mention, i already have 3 limited main damage dealers. One for each side of ToA. Im sure most of us has multiple limited damage dealers, so they would need to make Camellya absolutely busted for her to be worth it. Kuro is very generous, a ton of those pulls are just from events and event shops they keep pushing towards us. I've bene waiting for Camellya since day 1. I do want Shorekeeper too but i decided I will get her on rerun and secured Camellya. I think Baizhi is underrated, she is really great and I've been maxing out ToA with Baizhi and Verina so I can afford to skip Shorekeeper. I just don't get why Baizhi doesn't get the love she deserves. Not hearing Baizhi mention in the video once just makes me sad because she has been a valuable character in helping max out ToA. She is attractive to look at and can fill the same role as Verina.

im chilling, got like 240 pulls that ive saved up been skipping every single banner besides changli, although i think ill only pick up shorekeeper my goal is to save and skip everyone until Geshu lin comes out, and then ill get as many copies as possible F2P

Even as a f2p you don't have to choose, there is more than enough time between the two to save up. For me i don't care about the weapons all that much so i always have extra for char pulls quickest way to kill love for a game is stressing out over this stuff.

EVERYTHING FOR CAMELLYA!!!! ive been saving absolutely everything for Camellya since i pulled jinshii... i got lucky and pulled another 5 star after Jinshii in the same pull so basically already failed the 50 50 for the next banner im f2p so having the failed 50 50 and like 210 pulls 20 character wishess and 20 weapon wishes saved already also dont be throwing shade on varina like that >W

I pulled for Zhezhi+weapon and Xiangli Yao's weapon as well. I have to skip Shorekeeper for Camellya because I like Camellya more. I have Shorekeeper at home (Baizhi) and I'm not sick of Verina yet 😅

I lost my 50 50 extremely early verina while I was pulling for Zhezhi... so I won't mind getting Shorekeeper she is necessary... I have the entire black shore area and events and new area in camellya's patch... if I save up I can get both without problem... have faith pull both

tbf there's more than enough support characters in the game, for energy and dmg buffs. You just need to learn to perfect run bosses or TOA which is quite fun in of itself.

I'm feeling like I'm playing genshin all over again. Sassy girls who love to ride on mc's ehem, but you got the point. Literally every character in the current roster is boring. Sex factor all over the place, the only one I'm looking forward to is Scar. The very first hero who actually have an interesting personality, and i swear i never saw more charismatic character than him. Hoyo had something like that called Itto who ended up as a comic relief and is abandoned in the story overall. So Scar looks like THAT guy. Cool man, who doesn't rely on sex factor, who is just charismatic and interesting. I hope at the time he releases he won't be some tier 4 character since, characters like him has the 0.000001% rarity in gacha games

one of the golden rules from gacha games is that the support characters last longer than the DPS. so for a F2P is good to get the support units, camellya i think she will be a subDPS like changli and yinlin. good damage with havoc element boost in her outro. and i dont know who wil lbe the future husband for her, for now danjin and rover havoc.

Just be careful you don't ONLY get support characters. That's what I did in HSR and my damage was terrible... but at least I can still use my support characters!

But skipping maybe a second DPS from the same element, For example if You have calcharo full builf xiangli Yao is not that important, Jiyan aero You don't anymore. But camellya Havoc we are in trouble more if she give bonus Havoc to Rover. But shorekeeper is needed also. I Will let the luck decide i Will pull For her until the pity 80. If i win the 50/50 shorekeeper yeah and try to pull with all For camellya. If a lose i save For camellya. Safe pity 80.

Shorekeeper comes with stronger buffs but also with additional field-time. It does balance things out. I actually think that she is the worse option for Tower because of that. The major plus is obviously her looks compared to Verina. Then again, could also just play Baizhu and do fine. Supports in WW are everything but necessary. More of a comfort option; until Kuro decides to build in some sustain-checks. Easy skip for me; might even skip Camellya. Really depends on how nice her animations look. After all, there is also Chun on the horizon for the patch after Camellya.

From release I pulled only Yinlin and her weapon, and skipping everything to this point (yes, Changli and Magistrate too) I will skip Shorekeeper and Camelya, don't understand hype around Camelya, to me she's the most meh character among those I named higher. I will wait for something interesting like Phrolova or *5 female with guns 😊 btw in this game you can clear all content without pulling at all, thx to devs we have very good MC + all 4* are good + multiple free *5 characters and weapon.
