WARNING Wrong Sheath? ESEE 4 Armatus Architect Sheath Unboxing

I bought this after market Armatus Carry Solutions kydex sheath for my ESEE 4 Survival knife on blade HQ. It was represented by Blade HQ specifically designed for the ESEE 4 supposedly yet the ESEE falls right out of it. There was no differentiation between fitting G10 scales or Micarta. This was a huge disappointment as I had hoped to implement carrying this knife with it ASAP. I originally made this video but posted a short and received more info. It appears Blade HQ has a defect when ordering the sheath and misrepresents it. I have never heard of Armatus or actually ever purchased an after market sheath before this and as my first purchase I probably never will waste my time or money again.

This video is a 2 part WARNING if you watch the whole video. The first part is my Unboxing reaction to getting what I would have assumed was a defective sheath. It was only after posting a short that someone commented that I would have had any idea that it was actually potentially an issue from Blade HQ. The second part is me talking about that.

You ordered the Esee-4 original model sheath. They have specific sheaths for the 3D model grip you have and also the HM model.

Why don’t you reach out to Blade HQ or Armatus Carry to see if they’ll help you? Which they will. Or be resourceful and hit it with a heat gun and rework the mold. Nobody is perfect and not every product is perfect. What is important is how a company resolves issues. If they leave you hanging with a faulty product, then a rant video might be justified. Your frustration is justified but complaining to the internet doesn’t solve anything. These things happen. Reach out to them and post an update with the result.

It's a warning? And an unboxing video. That was my honest reaction to the product I recieved I'm not going to lie about it and pretend there wasn't a problem. There's probably thousands of people that have had this happen.

I just ordered one straight from Armatus. I’ll let u know how it goes. I’ve heard they are awesome and blade hq blows! When order from the armatus site? they make them to order to fit exactly to the blade and handle. $50 is a lot for a sheath and quality ranks among the top of importances.

Yeah It seems it's blade HQ. I have talked to a few people that have ordered from there and it appears have got the wrong sheaths like myself and not even known. The way blade HQ has it it makes it appear this Sheath is exactly for my knife

That suck that you didn´t got a sheath that fits your knife properly i would send it back and get a refund.

That's really bad, ask for a refund mate. Or ask for a replacement. Maybe it's just a one off crapy item. I wouldn't bother trying to fix it with a heat gun. Just let the company sort it out, they owe you a functional sheath or a refund.

Pretty sure it's Blade HQ not differentiating between fitting micarta scales and G10 scales when they sell these.
