Going to try and attempt this with a E36, is there anything different I need to do with it? on my ABS there looks to be 3 parts an electronic bottom, solenoid section and pump section

I had the same approach also ABS light went from red to yellow, but the dsc calibration is still wirh non calibrated valves 5dd0 5dd2 its nightmare some says its due VIN missmatch but i made also Winkpf coding and in INPA it says coded even wirh correct VIN so its strange

just would like to ask you, because currently my baby e39 530d is having front wheel sensor errors,, and also i feel issues within the brake pedal. i have all new fluid, new master cylinder, new flexi hoses, the lot. i will look for a replacement abs unit, however i am unsure if i need to look for similar serial number abs units when looking for a replacement? thanks man wicked video.

hello friend im here again, i have replaced the abs unit from one second hand, the abs and hand brake red go away, but, always a but, hahaha the triangle stays on , hace the errors 5e1f . 5e21 . 5e20 . 5e1e . 5d8c. mi carhas ASC button so, in some place i read that the mk60 dont have angle sensor,can you confirmthat? the pa soft dont recognize the angle sensorand inpa etheir, so i dont know if my car should have or not angle sensor. my car was replaced the cluster and the LCM , thistow parts are matched with a vin mumber that dont match the car as well, my qustion its,in this case witch VIN number have to has the abs module? because the pa soft bmw1.4 scanner can write the vin in the abs module, but witch vin have tohas to erase this error, thanks a lot, my car comes with a lot of prombles, because has various modules of other cars, bmw 2002 e46 318i 4 cyl N42B20 iwill be very happy for your help

Im having problems in NCS expert. VIN is faulty. Cable is OK , pins bridged com1 latency1 ignition on. Inpa works fine. As soon as i select chasis and ews it throws a buuunch of errors with VIN is faulty on top. Any advice ? Tried looking online , but everything comes down to cable bad, tried my cable on different e46 , works.

When entering the vin to ncs tick the checksum

​@@oldak8647i selected kmb instead of ews and it worked perfectly. I read online that select ews for models older than 2001 and kmb for newer. Mine is 2002 e46 and i calibrated it successfuly.

Cant wait to try on my e39. Thanks for the step by step. What was that adapter for to K+DCAN. I bought the cable but didn't know I needed that adapter. No one mentioned it in the forums. 🤔

You need the adapter usually if you are having problems connecting with your car because some models like e39, x5 e53 are having the obd plug different wired. If you can connect without having connection problems you don't need the adapter

With what file you code that DSC module? you have not even read the codding from the module, how can you code it??

On this models you don't need any file, you have to take Infos from ews (or any other module from the car) and code that info to the dsc as shown in the video.

DXC is for cars with all wheel drive (4x4) it's the same module

not sure this is the place to ask this, but, I have an 96 e39 523i and it is slugish, the tester gave me an eror for camshaft sensor, so I chnged it... I stil lget the error and the car is acting the same! do I need to relearn the part in some way ?

It's been 7 months so i am not sure my answer is gonna be any helpful, but no, it doesn't have to be coded, it's a sensor, not a module, not a computer, your problem might be the wiring to the sensor

If youre having the 5df5 error code and all the wheel speed sensors show speed , then it's the abs unit itself. This video shows how to code a replaced dsc unit.

You have to select in your case the Kombi for Info from your car and after that follow the other steps

@@WarpDriveM hello friend i still cant program the asc unit the abs module still with the error internal falture and the vin not match somelike that i clear the errors and only the vin not intialiced some likethat remains, i open inpa have conection and the go to ncs expert and load profile and expertmodus hace 3 options of expertmodus, and then whean select ews go back then select the asc and when execute the job says error changin zcs . and the select of ecu the options are akmb alsz ews and kmb, dont show kmbi as you said, my car its 2002 year e46 318i

This happens all the time while doing videos, phone rings, package arrives, wife ask something, a friend is cursing in the background 😅..so you have to cut and retake...sometimes after days, hours and so on. I've shown you the method.....

There are a few reasons to be coded, all modules comunicates together and from factory they code the modules with the vin nr to keep track for options, theft and diagnose purposes, I know is frustrating and you need software and tools but all the manufacturers do this

Bc we know when something is wrong, my e39 530i 01' tells me any light or anything is broken 😊😊 Also it gives u the option to buy a obd2 cable and have full control of my car with factory apps , ive fixed almost everything with the obc/obd system and the inpa cable
