I Mount a Jet Engine on my Electric Scooter to see just how crazy it will be and how fast it can go!.
The electric scooter that I'm using is an all-wheel drive Fiido Beast, the jet turbine has almost 100 lb of thrust, it's a really crazy project and one of the few projects that I was actually a little afraid of a little.
The scooter has a combined weight with me as the rider of about 300 lb, so that is quite the power-to-weight ratio.
The scooter was a ton of fun even without the jet engine I have taken this thing on road Off-Road and I usually get to the store faster on the scooter than in the car, in the city at least.
Here's Links to the Fiido Beast Electric Scooter and the HydroDiesel, after riding this scooter I never looked at any other scooter the same again, I have so much fun on this thing!.

I can't believe nobody came out of their homes wondering why a jet engine sounded so close. Imagine chilling in your living room, and then hearing the sound of that turbine spinning up and thinking "did they build an airport nearby?"

I would suspect that it's not regenerative braking that's causing the issue. Rather the motor controller can't cycle the magnet phases quick enough, meaning they won't be pushing/pulling at the correct time. Alternatively you are indeed generating to much power and it is starting to flow backwards into the motor controllers. Regenerative braking works like this, but only when the brake switch is triggered and it is turned on. If your scooter has a coasting function then it may solve the problem by turning it on.

Awesome video! Couple things: - Steering damper. Bolts on easily and will drastically reduce that dreaded speed wobble. - Street tires. Less rolling resistance and will be a lot smoother and faster. Should be easy to find them in the 10 or 11 inch size. - Higher end scooter such as the Rion RE90. This scooter can hit 120 kmh (75 mph) WITHOUT a jet engine strapped to the back lol. (You should also be able to flash the controller to remove the speed limiter if it has one) - If you get all 3 of those plus your jet engine expertise, you should be able to set the world record for fastest scooter ever! I really wish you provide numbers like acceleration numbers, top speed, power to weight ratio, etc. It's gonna give us a lot better prospective to what we're looking at. Please, try to figure out some ways to do that in your next projects. Thank you for what you do anyway because it's great.

To eliminate the wobble, you need to put one foot on the front, one on the back, and lean as much weight as you can over the handlebar. I do 120kmh (Moyatron) and my mate 146kmh (Rion) and we have no issues.
@WarpedPerception
@WarpedPerception Жыл бұрын
Geezus, that Moyatron goes over 55 mph out of the box, that's insane. I'm going to try that tactic next time

Dam man, the Ruin is 80mph, holy hell...that's just too fast for a scooter..
@petronioaznar
@petronioaznar Жыл бұрын
@@WarpedPerception Yeah the Rion is just nuts, I have tried it and the acceleration is plain scary. It has the same push fron the beginning until the end, even at 120kmh the wheels keep drifting.

I see maybe you have a camera on the handlebar? That could be causing some of the wobble. Also, your cellphone can measure your speed. 😉

Man I think that thing is awesome. I'm working towards breaking the current world record for the fastest kick scooter. You have inspired me to keep moving forward with my project. It seem that you have much better resources and equipment. The cnc machine and the heli arc are must have to go to the next level. Thank you for the video. I've raced motorcycles and high performance cars my whole life and safety equipment is a must if you continue to press the limits get a set of leathers good boots gloves n Simpson helmet. I've gone down before and the pavement is unforgiven so get the gear or get someone else that has it to do the test ride. We need you in one piece to make bad ass videos that inspire our warped perception s
