Massproduced in China and still 3500 bucks... And regarding to all the videos on YT poor tolerances, short, just crap. The gears in the optional buyable supercharger hit themselves... For 100 bucks, I'd actually would buy it

Errrr look I get and appreciate the engineering and ingenuity and all the BS that goes with this project.. But ultimately its now a prius and a bad noisy one at that! and frankly it comes down to Just because you can dosent mean you should. Its ultimately a fail in all measurable areas, noisy, expensive, thirsty, impractical and doesn't solve any 1st world range, ICE, or charging electric issues. What would be impressive is actually designing a true cordless vehicle through a combination of solar, capacitors and self generating unlimited power scenario. that is something that would be cool. this is just a been there done that me too project that really isn't that smart big picture wise. but I admire the work and skills and engineering to do it, just not the wasted opportunity to do it a better and smarter way. Think outside the square.

"We finally got this ready to go" The amount of insane clean work and engineering you did in 48 hours is just mind blowing. And you said it like it was a long time. That would take most people a month. Great work man. New fan right here just found your channel through Donut media with the rocket car yall made for Mr Beast.

Please let me know.

@@danielsampong6607 well I can't spoil it I've been prepping for those videos for the last 3 years. As for what I do weel that's tough, I'm an engineer, however I know many engineers who just know a specific job and don't know how to build much, but I know other engineers that are very general and build all kinds of things, Hope that answers your question. But basically engineering.

@@WarpedPerception still kinda vague but I respect the privacy I’m assuming it’s military to be able to design and construct a dash like that and such thrusters (I just dunno if masters or experience in something like MEP has any hope of doing something this stellar as a DIY)

Waaay too loud! like WAY.. why not make a proper quiet exhaust? Also diesel engines shouldn't be revving like crazy, the whole point is low rpm with lots of power, run the engine at best performance and then gear/belt pully the generator to make enough power based on that.

The sound is just insane! The first mower of my dad had this engine installed and later when he purchased a new one I started to experiment on that engine. Removed the limiter or what it is that keeps throttle independent of the load and it ran on about 6000rpm (just guessed by ear), as well as removing the air filter and I thought that was a cool sound from such a small engine but yours tops anything. But one question: in super slomo it looks like it's running on 2-strokes? Ok, forget my question. In 2nd slomo I can see the 4 strokes.

What's the bore to stroke ratio of these things? they're obviously not performance based, you'd need direct injection and better forged internals to get any worthwhile rpm. It's a shame because even with turbos they're pretty gutless compared to 2 stroke nitro's, so running them in an actual car is pretty pointless imo, they're heavy and unreliable for that purpose but they are really cool for different reasons 👍
