@@weneedspood9726 Yea I have the MPC x but can't use it coz digital screens give me seizures. I'm hoping those old school screens I can use. Sometimes I think of trading the x for an old school. You think is worth trading the x for like a 2500 or 5000?

have you ever tried using the sliders & knobs for basslines or 808 glides. Never seen this parameters on other MPC's

Not on the MPC yet. So far only on my keyboard but it would be fun to try the sliders for a bassline.

Can you record automation on the mpc 2500? Like say I want to bring a sample out of its low pass can I record that in the actual mpc?

With Akai OS you can do it for pan & volume. There's probably a workaround for q-links like maybe the Loop Recorder. In JJOS, I've done the LPF on the q-link while playing and it records it how I played it.

In your mix mode can you use both q2 and on each pad or track because i can only use q1 and q3?

What's better eith to patch phrase samples to control and manipulate the tempo or time stretching samples?

Most prefer to time stretch but I always just chop into whatever pieces I need to fit my tempo.
