I'm glad we got the finalized designs. They're probably the most original alien designs I've ever seen and they're so unique and memorable with their colors, proportions, abilities, and style. (My favorite was always Upgrade. Just so original and appealing to see as a kid.) Many of them could've fit with the Men In Black animated series and they wouldn't look out of place.

Absolutely, I was just thinking that while watching all the beta versions. When I see beta concepts or designs there's almost always something that I wish would have gotten included in the final versions, but that didn't happen watching the stuff with Ben 10. Every single final concept and design I think was way better than the beta versions. (Also Upgrade was my favorite too!)

In Heatblast's early design it's cool that the triangle pattern on his chest was used in the Plumber uniform and the helmet was reused as Six-Six's helmet! What an amazing video, so happy to see love for Ben 10 still going so strong!! My favorite show of all time 💚

The biggest take away I got from this, was that they went back to the drawing board time and time again. Had they rushed this show at all in its early development, we would have had a completely different show entirely. I’m glad they worked on it for so long before it aired. It’s goes to show, that persistence and consistency goes a long way.

The original Ben 10 was based on some similar characters from Marvel and DC that were able to either mimic or transform into supper powered characters or take form of any super powered characters from either species or take super powered forms of themselves (which Ben 10,000 and 9,000 can do) or able to summon anything they can imagine and warp in a way.
