The area that had huge flooding is about 250 x 100 miles. I estimate that as about the same size as lake michigan or pennsylvania. Imagine lake michigan rising 3 feet in 3 days or pennsylvania getting 3 feet of water across the whole state.

Selig Tenenbaum right...no, i never mentioned its because he can make money off money... the fact that he has highly rational decision making skills, has seen the ups and downs of American society throughout his many years, is using wealth to benefit society (most of his wealth is being donated to various charities including the gates foundation), sees the huge potential of America(read his quarterly statements and other interview), on the right side of gender issues, just to name a few. yah its because he can make money off money FOH

I would have voted for Buffet over Trump. You think Trump has more wisdom in running a country than Buffet? You are clearly braindead. Buffet is intelligent enough, he just never wanted the job.
@HamiltonRb6 жыл бұрын
He talks common sense as well as reading financial reports. Trump can do neither as evidenced by his going bankrupt 5 times and what he tweets out daily, like a 10 yr old.

That Developer Guy Super Caps (Super Market Capitalization) are the largest companies listed. Like Amazon or Apple at nearly a trillion dollar market capitalization (market cap). Conversely, a penny stock would be a micro cap. Cheers.

09:33 : he says 2% growth for 25 years adds $18K to the per capita gdp - 2% for 25 years compounded is 64% on principal. for a $58K ($20T/340m) gdp it would mean $95K in 2042 ( addition of $37K ). is he implying $19K of that would be inflated away and $18K would be gain in real terms ?

Mandatory insurance is a bailout for the banks, in every which way shape and form. If he wanted to help, rather than advocating for more failed government involvement, he would likely have no problem getting Congress to administer a retrograde negative income tax. It could easily be funded by indicting the characters invested in tax havens.

jkhdfkjashdfk You think business and investment are separate from politics? Lol
@ezra45177 жыл бұрын
Blew if you've read or heard his speeches, politics have no bearing on his investment strategy. He even said that if Alan Greenspan told him what he had planned on doing a year in advance it would absolutely have no bearing on him. That's what makes warren buffet so good. He doesn't let speculation and emotions dictate his strategy. He analyzes businesses and comes to his own conclusion. Just like Ben Graham lays out in the intelligent investor.
@jkhdfkjashdfk7 жыл бұрын
I've been an avid Buffett follower for two decades. I have read just about every book written about him. His politics have absolutely nothing to do with his business and investments. In fact, they are often in contradiction to each other.
