Part 7: • Warren Sapp & Vlad Deb...
Part 1: • Warren Sapp: Tony Dung...
--------
In this clip, NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp reveals that his sources told him that Colin Kaepernick's recent workout with the Las Vegas Raiders was a disaster. From there, he shares his displeasure with the NFL's tactics behind the NFL combine, citing their desire to save money. As the conversation moves along, Sapp explains why he believes that the NFL operates under a "slave system" by indicating that the "Rooney Rule" has not been affective, before discussing the recent sale of the Denver Broncos.

Why do you think Americans give a rats ass if millionaire football players make 21 million dollars a year or 40 million dollars a year? Most of us can't even find jobs that will pay us enough to buy homes and start families. Why are we focused on how many millions of dollars football players make? Cut the NFL salary to a maximum of 500k a year, and there would be a line 10 miles long of people lining up for that job.

With respect to the suing and working for the company. At my former employer they attempted to fire our COO for incompetence. She was horrible took us from number one to out of contention. You had avoid her because when seen depending on how she felt she targeted and looked for a reason to fire you. She counter sued claiming she wasn't hired for competence. She was hired because she was a woman and she's still a woman. She won and they kept her on and we had to deal with her for 7 years. I survived 3 attempts at being fired. She eventually got put in some made up position working from home till retirement because her retention rate and the morale and rate of decline was out of control.

@@Mikeyvellii yes, a very important part. My argument has never been on wether or not the NFL treats players like slaves. I argue being consistent. The suing your employer analogy was on point, but Vlad was stretching it with the unemployment comment. Unemployment is that percentage the employer denied you because they had to put it aside for such a case. If my employer gave me that 6.5 percent in my paycheck over the course of my employment. I'd gladly not file for unemployment.
