The loss to the Bucs in the 2002-03 NFC championship game is still the most painful loss I’ve ever experienced as a fan. It makes me feel a little better knowing the other side was equally as happy about winning. That was the best Eagles team we’ve ever had. It was better than the Super Bowl winning team. McNabb got hurt, his backup got hurt, and they still smoked 5 teams in a row. The Bucs just had too great of a defense. The 2002 Bucs are right there with the ‘91 Eagles, 2013 Seahawks, and 2000 Ravens for the best I’ve seen.

What happen to the '85 Bears and the '86 Giants?
@josephvanhorn53472 жыл бұрын
@@madrecka I should've put the '85 Bears on that list. No doubt. I'd probably have the '86 Giants a little bit behind the other defenses. They were an all-time great defense and dominated in the playoffs. Six guys went to the Pro Bowl and 3 were named All-Pro. Unbelievable. I'm not trying to take anything away from their accomplishments. I just think the others were slightly more dominant.
@madrecka2 жыл бұрын
@@josephvanhorn5347 I'll take the 2000 Ravens over all of them. I see your point.

@@madrecka I agree with you 100%. The Ravens only real threat for number one is the '91 Eagles. Since that defense was held back by an all-time putrid offense and missed the playoffs entirely while the Ravens were at their most dominant during the postseason I have to put Baltimore at the top of the list. Then it's probably the '85 Bears third, the '02 Bucs fourth, and the 2013 Seahawks fifth. MAYBE.
