I don’t blame the Buffalo Bills at all I don’t know if anybody in here they wanted to see that game continue has ever been in the presence or had to do CPR on a human being. It is definitely a traumatic experience. And it can be traumatic for people that you don’t even know I could only imagine how it would feel for somebody you do at the time that he was being taken to the hospital. @jbissainthe Жыл бұрын
@@bobharris7447 , hold on. I think you’re missing the point. I think what we’re trying to express is that the media is, was trying to make the decision to stop the game came from some “nimbus higher calling” or something of that sort. You have to remember that yesteryear players aren’t today’s players. Players today have a voice and a prominent presence on social media. Bottom line, the players weren’t motivated to play after witnessing what had happen. The coaches picked up on it and so did the team executives on the field/arena as well as league officials and sponsors. Personally, the right call was made. The game should have been stopped. However, if this incident would have happened 10 years ago I think the game would have continued. Players nowadays are more forward thinking and are more concerned about the health and longevity. For example, I point to the amendments made in the collection bargaining agreement. Players are given more rest in between games as well as less mandatory offseason workouts. “Not that deep” means the players just weren’t up to playing. They had lost their mojo, simple as that. And yes, Damar had EVERYTHING to do with it! The coaches and team staff for each respective teams were given way too much credit for stopping the game. After witnessing what they saw these “woke players” didn’t want to play anymore. And I’m on board.

This decision to not play the game ultimately decided the fate of the AFC. Say The Bills won that game, then you would have had the Chiefs vs The Bengals early and The Bills would have had the number 1 seed. Crazy that they just decided to let it roll out the way it did and it ended up benefiting the sb winning team.

Well, that wasn’t a concern to them. Their concern was making sure the young man who collapsed on their field, who happens to be a part of another team and also the team that he was a part of lived. He then ended by saying the game was irrelevant. Clearly, because of the fear for Hamlins life. I personally didn't want them to continue playing. I just wanted to hear that Hamlin was going to be ok.

No, he was definitely wrong, and he definitely was not asking a question that was on anybody’s mind at that moment most peoples concern was on brother damar was going to live or die. Everybody was praying for the best outcome especially because it was noted pretty fast and he was in critical condition so maybe he was saying what was on your mind but for most people know he wasn’t. It’s all about reading the room and knowing the appropriate time to ask certain questions.
@nisha5669 Жыл бұрын
@@jahprime6932 if the game was irrelevant, then why even ask the question the first thing that should’ve been asked was what was the status or condition of damar Hamlin. @nisha5669 Жыл бұрын
The problem is the teams didn’t care. It was a collective decision for them to not play the game because of what they have witnessed thankfully due to a lot of the diligent thinking of the Buffalo Bills players, we didn’t get to see what they were experiencing. I don’t know if you’ve ever been in the presence or had to do CPR on somebody but it is definitely a traumatic experience and it can be traumatic for people to do or experience on people that they don’t even know I can’t even imagine how that feels to do it or to see you be done on somebody you do know and care about. And then it’s scary for them because it seem like a fairly normal football play that that happened on their emotions were high they were scared. There was a young man whose life was in limbo and because he was unconscious and had to be sedated just to be treated. It was definitely an appropriate decision.
