Kevin is a smart guy and spoke the truth about those products. You have to wet the grass before you spread the granular weed and feed for it to be effective and stick to the weeds. Will work but will be messy

I did that and it still did not work

What is safe for vegetable gardens?

Just use castor oil and liquid soap, You can look up how to mix it up. It is pretty simple. It doesn't kill them, but it makes them leave your yard.

tried the poison gummie worms, it does not work and the packaging on that is the worst, when i opened the packet they were all melted so i cut them in strips and placed them inside the holes. moles ate it, and they instead multiplied now got a lawn full of those damn things.

I agree, we tried the poison worms last spring and we've got more mole tunnels than ever now. I'm going to try a Gopherhawk this year.

I used the pellets, worked perfectly. 2 days all activity stopped.

I've had modest success with sonic devices (battery powered, not solar) in the past. When combined with grub removal treatments I got rid of moles in my lawn. I recognize that earthworms are their majority diet, but these two approaches worked for me.

Those spike things DO NOT work. I had 3 in my yard, took them back after 2 months with more moles!! Big waste of time and money..worms seem to work!

The sonic devices DON'T work. I have also tried the peanut pellets n they DON'T work either. I gave tried the Smoke ones also.

It’s interesting, my neighbor has some of those sonic ones set up right near the border of our properties. Most of the moles I’ve caught are right where my property begins. Thats basically evidence they don’t work though. The moles wouldn’t be going back and forth through there if they did.

Skip every thing and go to the wire Tek trap and gopher hawk trap. There is a guy on KZbin that shows you how to use both traps and he has gotten rid of his moles.
@thenexthobby Жыл бұрын
Not sure how the flags track moles, given that moles don't make tunnels you can see, without digging up all of the topsoil.

All these products trap the buyers!!! I’ve tried the trap years ago and had no luck. Now I’m going to try the peanuts.
@nancybarton44123 жыл бұрын
I've tried the peanuts and sonar spikes, now the worms seem to help and also castor oil..I've bought the little dynamite sticks, which are actually forgers you put into the holes and they die!
@keithcarnley18023 жыл бұрын
Peanuts are not very good...worms are great!
@davemorris40782 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree with his comment about the peanuts. I have used the very same product in my yard and my neighbors. The stuff works. You just need to find the active tunnel and place a good amount not just one in the ground.
@ant98tan2 жыл бұрын
Exactly! Bingo! Spot On! He's absolutely wrong about Victor peanuts. I've only used the peanuts and it gets the job DONE!

For the last several years, I have been getting rid of moles with "Juicy Fruit' gum. It is much cheaper than the "Gummy worms" and works just as well. And if your dog digs up the Juicy Fruit gum to eat, it will not hurt him. And yes, the gum kills the mole; just remember, there is probably more than 1 mole using that run.
@18064pnoplayer3 жыл бұрын
How do you use the gum?
@worldpeace81872 жыл бұрын
Can you tell us how you use the juicy fruit gum please Thanks 😊
@charlesdevier82032 жыл бұрын
@@worldpeace8187 I locate a mole run that is close to the ground surface and remove a little dirt/grass sod to expose the "mole run". Then I unwrap a stick of gum, place it in the hole and cover with dirt. Moles can't digest the gum and die from it. I know it sounds crazy, but Juicy Fruit gum is all I have used for the past three years. I usually place about ten/15 pieces of gum each time that I put it out; one piece in each hole I dig.

If you have been using juicy fruit for the past 3 years, then it's obvious you haven't gotten rid of them
