EXCELLENT presentation! Thank you for devising this wonderful system of self preservation for old farts, (folks). Knowing the content makes me feel quite a bit safer, since I walk with a cane. I can walk as good as the next guy, but my balance goes whomper-jawed and I throw the tip of my cane in tge direction I'm falling, and push off, to regain my balance. I already have "Tip Awareness." You've instructed me in "PR32" instead of "PR24" training. I'll be 70, in less than a year.

I have practiced karate and Aikido but being 70 find them increasingly difficult. I injured my left leg so need a cane. This technique is perfect for me and very easy, practical instructions. Thank you 👍🏻

There's a lot of "shaft to the groin" moves but... The attacker has to be standing with enough gap to get in there. If the legs are together/crossed to one side, etc. at the knees, that move becomes negated because there isn't sufficient force to push through to contact so, what alternatives do you have when that technique isn't a viable option, from the first position where it seems you're relying on it a lot. It plays well in class and everyone cringes and chuckles but, it's that first move alternative to which I'm specifically referring (other than cane hand grab/lock for a cross hand grab). On another note, you have reach and speed with the cane, strength isn't needed, to whip the cane's lower shaft (where the speed is) and attack the side of the neck and strike the carotid/vasal nerve, triggering vaso-vegal syncope and immediately incapacitating him (for a moment) which gives the opportunity to either finish any chance of him regaining any position on you (careful for legal issues once he's incapacitated, needs to be a definite "life in continued danger" situation) or turn and escape while you have a couple of minutes. This is also a great technique if facing multiple attackers because you can reduce their force numbers quickly and efficiently. This is a stick fighting technique from waaaay back. Beware of one thing, if you strike someone there, they lock-out and drop, immediately and could land on their head, injured their neck, etc. so, don't do this to someone unless it's a serious matter. "And remember... Always re-stomp that groin!" (You and Master Ken would get along! 😆)

OK you got me. how can I one get of these canes? I am 80 years old but by golly this is something I can do. I usually carry a walking stick that comes to my chin. Its oak and ... But a cane looks like a really good option.

If i am being attacked by a group, i am not going to be intent on injuring an attacker, i am going to be looking to kill so i no longer have to worry about the attacker. Also in a group situation you want to take out the biggest , meanest looking attacker and hopefully cause him enough pain to make him scream like a banshee so his friends know he is in distress. Hopefully this will cause them to retreat.

Just got a veteran cane from cane masters , it took a while to get it , so be prepared for a wait time , but it is nice looking and solid with engraving on it . You do body Guard service with a cane ?

oh stop, you wont rip OUT the liver or quad. people have clothes on, jackets, jeans, ok its a decent technique, but organs wont be ripped out. please. yeah, your a huge guy, very strong, the average person wont have that strength, most are fairly good, but the exaggeration for damage is a bit misleading.

Anoint yourself with the oil by placing a dab of oil on tip of finger and touch it to your forehead, and ask the Lord to bless you/heal you. Place a dab of oil on your finger and anoint the door posts and order all negativity and evil out of the house, and order that nothing negative or evil can enter into your home including piggybacking on a person entering, order it to be so in the name of Jesus. Anoint all potential entrances to your home. To anoint the sick, place oil on tip of finger and touch it to the head of the sick and say a prayer of healing over them in Jesus name. How can a senior women do all those defensive movements ? They can't , I'm a senior women with a very bad knee and very sore arthritis in my fingers , your showing young men doing this and your a very strong male , it's not going to help a real helpless senior as my self.
