ok. this was just really cute. most people have athena leaving Odysseus hanging, but this was nice change. also, odysseus looking at athena with child like awe so SO cute. Another thing. I love how you made her significantly taller than oddyseus to make her stand out from mortals. Athena kinda has this mother/big sister vibe. Especially with her teaching Odysseus how to hold the sword. which does make what happens bwteen the two quite sad.

@@Pessoa614 they had an argument. Cause Odysseus allowed emotion to cloud his judgment and his personal connections to “restrict” him. After the death of his best friend and many of his crew. He managed to blind the Cyclops responsible. But he didn’t kill the cyclops, going against Athena’s orders. He had enough bloodshed. Athena wanted him to be the perfect warrior. To be a tool to prove she was powerful. That she could mentor the greatest warrior. But Odysseus only wanted a friend. He saw Athena as a friend, but Athena only saw him as a tool.

God, I love how you interpreted this! The character design but also the moments you chose to pause on- Athena dropping her disguise, and the emotion of baby Ody was amazing! Especially where he goes from fanboying to deciding to play with Athena and pretend he didn't know who she was! Plus the motion you captured in this!!! And the transitions! Like the one with Athena going from owl to human but also the transition between Ody with the stick and Athena with her spear and then the wings popping out behind her!!! Gah, I love it so much! I like how most of the gods/goddesses in these animatics have a sort of animal quality to them based on some of the beasts associated with them Athena - Owl Aphrodite - Sealife (not any particular sea animal, though she did have a clam in old artwork “and her statue” so… Maybe mollusk?) I can picture Zeus being a swan 🦢 for obvious reasons… And Poseidon’s already a mer-person

God(dess), I just love your design for Athena. I know it's pretty common to use the helmet to continue mimicking a birdlike face, but you pull it off well. And also, I know a lot of people have said it already, but the transformation from owl to Athena was so good - not just because you time it differently than most people (who go from the moment she starts speaking), but because you chose the _specific_ moment the beat changed, and the smoothness of it - I know it's a rough animatic, but it feels seamless regardless.
