Wasteland was around 8 years after appetite for destruction, closer to grunge than hair metal/sleaze metal so you were completely wrong, check out the fact before you offer opinions, That said, I am watching this about a half bottle of whisky in so you may disprove me in which case i will issue a public apology but hey, lets have discussion and not arguing, if we can't discuss something like music how can we ever expect to discuss something like politics or religion I digress, as i said i enjoyed the video, i will continue to check you guys out Peace love craic on

Hey man I appreciate this comment. You’re not wrong. We go into most of these videos knowing nothing. There’s goods and bads about doing it that way. I didn’t like this one. No secret there. I was completely wrong about a lot here, lol- but this is how the song made me react. I’m no expert. I’m just talking shit. I like learning from comments like these. ✌️

Hair Metal?!?!?! Appetite for Destruction was 1987 BTW

Yea. Totally reads as hair metal to me. Very Poison-ish type vibe. That singer looks like a Sebastian Back (from Skid Row) knock off. I was off on the welcome to the jungle date, but I could see a record company exec still trying to capture some of the GnR heat at that time, so I think my point holds.

Apparently, I dated them in high school, ha, ha ha another little piece of our musical timeline

Go on then dude, what's your jam, zeppelin and the Beatles? 10 years at least after appetite, that was 86, when grunge started happening was almost 10 Years later when it was really popular and even then grunge had sold out, Nirvana peatl jam alice in chains and stone temple pilots all any one remembers or even talked about at the time, its like talking about elvis or the beatles now, they had their time but so overated now, its a cliche to call them an influence

I was never a big Zeppelin or Beatles fan. I like some of their songs, but never dove in like a lot of folks. Late 80s / early 90s I was big into bands like The Cure, Bad Brains, Jane’s Addiction, Sonic Youth, etc… If you like this band, that’s cool. Sue does. So does Pete who suggested them. They’re just not for me. ✌️
