Made in China? Never knew that. That's gonna be a no for me.

They are made in China and the old version the ones that had 'rockbass' blasted on the headstock and not the Warwick logo from 10 years ago had more to be desired (I would pay no more then $250 for these ones and just use them for parts) but the new style now run MEC electronics (just not the fancy push/pull or stacked knobs) but active Vol/Bal/Bass/Treble and have Warwick hardware and also have the same build quality as German ones but dont get the really fancy wood and not made in Germany but get sent to Germany to be inspected for defects and wont be sold to the public if any defects are found. They are a mid-range instrument to rival the Korean made Spector legend classic (they are both in the same price bracket new $1.3k -1.8k new $750 - $1K second hand and both have simular specs) and are for people that need a decent workhorse or a back-up instrument and not break the bank unlike the German pro-built instruments costing roughly $4K or I've seen the master-built ones go for $6K+, yes the wood is nicer and for a main bass or something to do a professional recording with 100% go with the German made ones but for a giging musicain or just a backup bass or just dont want to make your wallet cry the Chinese ones still can hold its own in a professional setting.
