I came to that realization a month ago and decided to hang it up. The absolute frustration at game breaking bugs, packet loss, on top of SBMM and other QOL issues I realized it’s unlikely to change at this point and I’d be a fool to continue playing and expect them to improve and fix it when they haven’t consistently done so for over two years.

Result of trying to stuff 10lbs of 💩 in a 5lbs bag once or even twice a month. When the bags full of nothing but for profit content but the game itself slips further and further away from playable or what it use to stand for….. well you know they are just trying to milk the cow or ring every last drop of money out of the consumer they can. We’ve proven that no matter how bad things are. The new generation is just going to keep showing up, keep playing outrageous sums of money for every battle pass, every new operator, operator skin and weapon camo. Why would they invest truly into fixing the game when their to busy making knock off transformers skins that every 13-17 year old will gladly spend $20-$80 to obtain

The QA team (before they were fired) still didn't do their jobs very well. Ever since Caldera released, it has been the devs idea to just let the playerbase "play-test" the game and let them know what is broken so they can ATTEMPT to fix it by the end of the season.

They should do what PubG and DayZ do and have experimental versions of the game that only have an updated test version of the game. Works well for them and helps them iron out issues before the updates drop live.

I have a friend that works closely with the cod dev team. Warzone was bairly playable a week before release. Unfortunatly this is the case for most tech spaces, QA is either non existant or put into the community to report issues.

A good portion of the layoffs were actually from Blizzard. The overwatch team was trimmed, the wow team lost people, the team that was working on the survival ip was cut. CoD was a minor portion.

Wanna fix audio? Make killstreaks less loud! I get it if someone calls a mortar on my house I shouldn’t be able to hear much else. But for Christ sakes I can hear a friggin mortar hitting prison allllll the way from stronghold. It’s unnecessary. Maybe have the killstreaks have an audio radius? Idk how this stuff works but it seems like that could be an easy fix? Just everything is loud EXCEPT things you need to hear. I also don’t want audio so good that rats can just hide in a building and hear EXACTLY where I’m coming from. It's crazy to me that we're how many years into CoD & it only continues to somehow get WORSE as time goes on & technology advances. A brand new game came out to compete with CoD (xDefiant) & you'd think that the developers/Activision would be ON TOP of fixing game-breaking issues with this game. Nope, you're completely wrong. Not to mention, the servers are ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. We're playing a game of update -> huge bugs -> fixed some of the bugs -> created new bugs -> some bugs still occurring for some users -> repeat. The game is genuinely horrendous, I have no idea why anyone still plays it.

Warzone use to be pure and even playground for ps or Xbox, but now it’s made for pc players. They have unlimited keys to use to do the stupid bunny hop, which somehow nerfs getting shot. Players that have a normal controller on a tv are at so much of a disadvantage at this point in the game. The game use to be fun and you could play your style, now it’s just a constant meta change every four hours of the day. It has over 200 hundred guns and twice as many attachments but they have decided to make the game where it’s just a snipe or no sight meta. What’s the point in having this many options if they only work when cod decides to let them work. We should be at the point to where your style and gun type should be up to the player not the ever changing meta. I did just want verdansk back but it will not be the same verdansk. May look the same but will never play the same. It’s a shame because all you have to do to fix the majority of problems is make it to where you can actually turn off cross play with pc for one, do away with metas, if you want players to buy packs then make better packs and players will buy them, instead of making players buy a pack to unlock the new weapon instead of having to grind away to unlock it just to be nerfed a week later. This shit ain’t rocket science, listen to the whole fan base not just a select part of your player base. Warzone could be the greatest br of all time if you could put as much effort into fixing the game instead of adding 30 modes that suck and stick with what got you here. Normal player out🔨

I don’t know how to tell you in a nice way, the audio on console has been broken since the release of warzone 2, no update changed the sound on console or rather on PlayStation. It’s a very sad state of affairs. Something like audio should be streamlined on all platforms.

The reasons for the constant increase of it breaking is because the fired or let go of the devs necessary for the game to be fixed properly and if they didn’t do that they wouldn’t have as many problems there’s a ton of games out there now that are smaller and has less than 50 devs a lot less than 50 devs and they work well and any issues that should be fixed get hashed out in a couple weeks or months time because less devs means longer working time is required to fix the problems or issues that become huge

Im just having a hard time understanding... Cod is a triple A title and the biggest gaming franchise on the planet (from what ive read)... yet there are other big time games that include BRs like fortnite, apex etc and I dont hear of the major issues consistently happening in those games like Cod. Games use to be made by passionate companies. Investor groups looked at the successful games and thought, wow what if we could make that a factory that rolls out bangers. I am sure they looked at all the bugs that QA fixed and did not fix vs profit and realized they could have a very buggy game and still buy golden toilets. I am in IT, I have worked for game companies and watched this happen, it's a bit heartbreaking.

IMO the problems with WARZONE are not due to layoffs but simple economics. How many people bought skins today? Or new operators? The money Activision makes off this game is insane. It doesnt make sense from a budget standpoint to make a perfectly working game. Just like Ford has always had shitty brake designs on their vehicles. Activision outsources it's coding to companies in India or China, who are completely disconnected from the game content. When you ask, "well, how can they not know the problems this game has?" There is your answer. Clearly the project managers are not motivated to fix as this game is killing it. Until another company is willing to go up against Activision and create a CoD killer, these problems will persist.

Spirit fire supp / casus break, conquer / high grain, bruen heavy grip / core stock (-I think it's the core), eagle eye 2.5 / glassless. Or I use it like an ar with zehemn, 45rd mag, razor laser, optic, dr6. Take your pick of those, depends on what you want our of it and the range

To be fair, the QA team was there when Caldera launched and that was a bigger shit show than anything post MWII. I continue to believe that the game's engine is to blame for a lot of the bugs... it seems like a nightmare to work with. So many updates unintentionally undo previous fixes and changes. The notification banners getting in the way, airstrikes being deafening, footstep audio being adjusted, the Sun's brightness, etc.
