Gayle King wasn't just asking, she was insinuating that Kobe was guilty and had gotten a pass. When Lisa Leslie indicated that she never witness any aggression from Kobe, Gayle King stated, "well you probably didn't see that side because you were his friend." When Lisa responded that the matter should rest since the alleged victim had her day in court, Gayle corrected her and said, "well....the case was dismissed." Gayle King was really trying to push a narrative about Kobe that is not in line with Kobe's character. Both Oprah and Gayle King are trying to appeal to their white audiences by attacking black men. Why didn't Oprah do a documentary on the Central Park Five. Thank God we have Ava Duvernay!!

Why don't people want to bring the fact the Kobe Bryant's accuser was clearly the worst possible person to be making those claims? The case was thrown due to DNA evidence showing that this woman had several other sexual partners withing the same 24-36 hour time frame that she had sex with Kobe, and her story was sketchy at best. Did he gave sex with a woman who is not his wife, yes. Did he rapr or sexually assault this woman, more than likely-No! We live in perilous times when allegations that were dismissed and/or proven false can still be brought up as a truth told in the spirit of disrespecting the dead.
