My solution for the forward hunch is the kraus moto pullback plate. But that raised the bars an inch, which i planned for. Just keep that in mind.

I have the 9.5 inch riser and high bend bars from Thrashin' Supplies -- makes seating position really comfortable and full-lock turns a breeze. But....next week, I am getting forward controls installed. The mid controls are not my thing.

It seemed to me they made the m8 softails smaller than the Dynas and old Softails. I added a seat that set me back a couple of inches and a 12in pullback riser/low bend bar. Paired with the stock forwards on my Fat Bob, it's comfy I can ride all day.

Sounds like you need an upfront seat. I ordered a LePera kickflip upfront can’t wait to throw her on today. I’m short at 5’4 and find myself scooting up an inch here and there. Not a big deal but for the price tag you want to make sure you make yourself super comfortable
@FXDLSBrooklyn

@FXDLSBrooklyn love the seat. No longer have to reach but it did raise me about half an inch off the ground which is not a big deal. I just can’t back the bike up 😅 on my tippy toes… but at stops I don’t mind just planting one foot down. Forgot to mention I was worried about the 10 inch risers but with a slight bar tilt and the La Pera seat, everything is way more comfortable. Seat locks me down while I let it rip

Look into the the "upfront" Lepera Kickflip moves you 2inches closer to the bars might fix that reach problem for you

I test rode it again back to back with the new Road Glide yesterday after work and it’s still such a great bike. I think I like the new Road glide more for a few reasons, the Low Rider ST is still legit, especially for shorter riders that want a lighter bagger like performance oriented experience. Both great bikes.

i'm 5'8" short legs, but long torso I "sit high"....with reasonable pullback bars how does it feel with mids to like a FXDX or FXR? Is super compact like sportster? a lot of the new softail models felt super cramped on me stock sitting on them. It's actually why i'm considering a new road king to mod with a faring so I don't have to deal with screen bullshit. VS the ST which I was hoping was going to be an ABS setup "FXR"........my 2000 FXDX feels like a better sport touring bike compared to the ST which is obviously faster and has electronics.

Almost all of your concerns can/are remedied by the parts one can/does change. Farther forward seat or back rest, pullback plate for risers, higher front/rear shocks. You can get another 3/8's on the front just by moving the triple tree up to the very top of the forks. (might need a hairy customs shim kit). The clamshell design of the bags sucks. Nastyhogs is coming out with a quick detach version of their chopped rebel bag that one can preorder now. Just keep upgrading till you get the fit you need.

Totally agree on the battery.. I took mine out and put it back in today after having an issue on my way to Daytona yesterday. This issue would be perfect for an aftermarket solution of some sort.. worst part is removing the positive terminal bolt and replacing it without losing it into the body of the bike. I used gum to hold the terminal bolt to the screwdriver when replacing.

I have a 2018 Sport Glide and had the ST fairing put on. Bought used with floor boards ,heel/toe shifter and Saddleman seat already installed . Think previous owner really wanted a full bagger. I put on pull back risers and with the new fairing it's damn near perfect for me. Oh yeah, it also comes with the clam shell bags but they are both the same size. Whatever you have to do to make it comfortable FOR YOU.

MoCo does need to do something about the battery access. I agree about the riding position although between seat and bars I’ve made my Sport Glide reasonably comfy. 45k miles and have twice done 1,000 mile days. Clearance is even worse on Sport Glide so I both swapped 43 for 56mm factory shock and added Bung King spacer. It raised the rear 2.25”. Greatly improved available lean angle no boot heal or peg dragging even made turn in a little quicker in the twisties.

I ride a 2020 Low Rider S , I am 5"11 with 34' inseam and I have done 5.5" risers from Drag Specialities with 1" pull back, turn down the bar at the maximum possible, put a Sport Glide seat, a Heritage shock and large pegs, and it fits me very well, I have also done a Road Warrior fairing with 11' vented windshield and Memphis shade hand guards and I love this bike, but I am looking after the ST for better wind protection and rigid saddlebags, I ride Softail M8 since two years now wirh about 40000 miles and have never had an issue with the battery, I know it's not very accessible but it's not a deal breaker for me, never scraped my pegs in the twisties, so it's aaalso not a problem for me, I am perhaps a too calm rider lol, for the Dyna, I can't say anything as I have not ridden one for enough long time to make a judgement. So I will perhaps get a ST this year, but I'm thinking because I really like my S with its gauges on the tank as the old models and its 114 engine which I find very expressive, I was told that the 117 was smoother... Greetings from France...

June: "dude?" I'm getting ready to start fabricating a skid plate for my EGS after busting the oil cooler on the front. I have purposely not ridden the Lowrider knowing what happens when one goes to the Barbershop, but I did see a couple articles recently about limb lengthening procedures that might be helpful! ...but almost all kidding aside, Lucky Dave's sells a bracket to move the bars back but I bet Painter John could whip one out on the Indian Larry CNC. You know you're going to have to make a T-shirt design now that reads, "it's not a Dyna, bro." But there's another option in the Harley sport touring community too...

I agree. The battery is a pain to get to, but it gets easier after you do it about 6 times😂 The rider position was my initial biggest disappointment. I got a 2.5 inch pullback riser and the saddlemen seat, pretty much solved the problem. It's not a dyna, and it took me a while to get used to it, coming from 12 years of dyna riding. But now I actully think it's an overall upgrage over the dyna.

I love the look of a low bike but it ends there. Riding a low bike is infuriating, I hate not being able to follow a local in a pick up down a twistys road with out dragging parts. I'm 5.7 some of the best riders I know are shorter than me. They don't ride low bikes. You will never see a professional motorcycle review with a category for how comfortable it is at a stop light. It's absolutely absurd for that to be part of people's buying decisions in my opinion. It can completely alter the bikes handling... wich is why you bought it. To ride .. not sit on and push around. You did a good job of pointing out that yes it's something beginners typically look for. But if that's one of your determining factors. You should have low speed riding corse above deciding on wich bike.

Okay go with “Kraus” I run a Kraus 8 inch rise with a 1 1/2 inch kickback, a Krause “T-Rex “ that moves the handlebar mounts closer to the rider by 2/12 inches. With that whole set up it puts the bars at 12 inches in height, and 4 inches closer to the rider with the kickback and T-Rex combo PROBLEM Solved …. I am 5’7 in height personally for me that’s the perfect set up . Now Kraus does have a ‘Raptor’ plate that’s 1 inch shorter than the T-Rex plate . For those who have slightly longer arms

Though all boids are indeed constrictors, only Boa constrictor (and its subspecies) is commonly referred to, in English, as a boa constrictor-an example of a species being referred to colloquially using its scientific binomial name. The species and subspecies of B. constrictor are part of a variable, diverse group of New World boids referred to as "red-tailed" boas, comprising the species Boa constrictor and Boa imperator. Within the exotic pet trade, it is known as a "BCC"-an abbreviation of its scientific name-to distinguish it from other boa species, such as Boa imperator (known as "BCI" or "boa constrictor imperator"). Other regional names include the chij-chan (Mayan),[8] jiboia (Portuguese), and macajuel (Trinidadian).[9]
