American News Stations are completely different to the UK. In the UK, the main news broadcasters are BBC and Sky. BBC especially try and be as neutral as possible. Sky are also fairly neutral. They may both have agendas but they tone them down so that they can reach the biggest possible audience. In America only seems that there are several different news stations for your political viewpoint. Therefore, for example, people who watch CNN likely only watch CNN and will only be exposed to their biased news. Whereas people who watch Fox will likely only watch Fox so the same applies. This creates a political divide and opens up room for fake news. In the UK, news networks try not to take sides. Therefore they won't show you endless propaganda to get you to vote for a particular party. This is one of the many reasons why the American political System is flawed.
