A lot of the guitars we buy are on impulse and that’s okay lol. During Covid I got bored like most of us and purchased 10 different Epiphones thinking I could not afford if they were all Gibsons. Fast forward to today I only own one Epiphone and sold all of the rest to get a Gibson Custom Shop R8 Les Paul. Was it worth it? Yes it’s my #1. I had other guitars collecting dust that I went to Guitar Center of all places but it was a reasonable trade that I ended up taking home a Gibson ES-345 sixties cherry and man I’m glad I did. I’m usually a picky fussy guy when it comes to guitars. It has to have that It factor. Problem during Covid we weren’t able to test them out, there were no stores open. Hold onto your Goldtop it sounds great if your not into The bridge Pup change it. If that is the only issue it’s not complicated at all.

I love P-90's.... I have a Les Paul I flattop Epiphone with P-90's I bought a Danelecto for my birthday (65th) Congrats on your Les Paul, it sounds great.

I have the exact guitar. I love mine too Cole. You might consider Lindy Fralin P-90's. I put them in mine and they are outstanding as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome video Cole! Regarding the bridge pickup, check out Jeff Mcerlain’s videos “dialing in a les Paul” I think is more of a setting thing because to my ears it sounded really nice.
