fantastic video! I've played all the KTBG line, and I think this is going to land in my top 3 or so.

Man I actually like the changes they made. This looks like a great remake of an old classic

Glad this is coming back. I still have my first edition copy. Looks like a few things have changed but the spirit is still there. I hope they include the menu card holders.

Hi Monique - You present with such energy and enthusiasm - thank you ! Just one rule clarification question, please - when you mentioned that ingredients have to be in the right order "in any orientation" - does the latter exclude backwards (right to left and bottom to top)? - i e. only left to right (despite all cards vertical only?) and top to bottom are permitted formations?
@SeemeP Жыл бұрын
I believe she says "in any direction" at the 5:50 mark so I think includes right to left and bottom to top
@tonycork2pa469 Жыл бұрын
@@SeemeP Thanks - Yes, I replayed at 5.50 and I think you are right - backwards vertical and horizontal included. Separately, I wonder about two other things: 1) if the game would've been better without the teacups - the rules could have instead stated that the game ends when X open spaces are left - would've avoided all the movements of the 'obstructive' cups - maybe I'm missing something? 2) How strong the "take all the wasabi pool to own bowl" turn is, if the pool is heavily populated - I presume the game remains well balanced?
@travisbuschette8609 Жыл бұрын
@@tonycork2pa469 The teacups do seem like unnecessary clutter at first, but I think when you are wrapped up in the game, it can be easy to forget when you reach X number of of open spaces left. So I can definitely see the teacups being a helpful reminder. The wasabi is a way to earn points when you are unable to play a recipe card. Because of that, players are likely to take the cubes often, and I don't think that pool will ever get very full. So yes, I believe it is still well-balanced.

Can I play the games of KTBG also solo? Because almost all games of them say 2+ players 😢
