Once in awhile you get a gun that far exceeds your expectations. Sure my GKs are great but I thoroughly expected their results. Up until about 3 month ago my Notos was at the top of that list, incredible value for the price. Then 3 months ago I purchased an HW30 that blew by the Notos, it immediately became my #1 shooter among more than a dozen mostly PCP guns. Then I traded for this BM8 and I've been blown away. I admit I was bashing the BM8 when I first watched the videos, I was totally wrong. Compact until unfolded, powerful springer, solid, well thought out, fairly accurate with just a Sig Romeo red dot, it's awesome value. I put a Buck Rail moderator on it and its crazy quiet. My close by neighbors don't hear it fire. And the moderator gives you significant cocking leverage. I admit I was too quick to judge.

I saw these on my local gun shop's web site, and wondered how it worked, as it looked like it was being carried cocked. Disconnecting the cocking lever answers that question, so thanks!

I've had an eye on this since I saw it at shot show. I like the idea with the compartment and the folding idea. I just wish the stock folded to the side and the barrel folded more flat. It would be a good gun to backpack but with the size of the compartment and the way it folds, it would need to be a big bag. It would take up a lot of room in a bag and it would need to be a wider bag. I do love the concept, power, and ease of use. I would like to see metal rails, a more flat fold (better to put in a bag), and less plastic down the barrel (just put the sights on the end and cut back on all the unnecessary plastic and cut weight).

Great vid and great dog... Mod makes more difference for the rabbit downrange than for the shooter next to the mechanism. My mates and I tested this theory in the 80s as teenagers with a HW77 when silencers first became a thing on airguns. We hid behind a shed while one of us shot at an apple next to the shed.....young, dumb, and full of...... Not that daft these days🤪👍

Does good grouping equal good accuracy?
@danielapel197611 ай бұрын
Yes....since you dont want hits that diviate too much. Its not important to hit bullseye with one shoot, its the bulk of shoots landing in a circle of a dime somewhere.

@charliecppickering853911 ай бұрын
All in all it’s almost perfect except one thing. If your familiar with other full on survival long guns they have multiple barrels to shoot both a low caliber and a high caliber round. In saying that I believe if that same thought process was added to this air rifle to have both 22 caliber and the secondary high caliber round say a 50 for being able to take bigger game if in a survival situation or a regular hunting situation. Because at the end of the day having that weapon is awesome and makes you feel confident but if a bigger animal steps into your path say a big brown bear. Your confidence level could go from 100-0 real quick and full survival would go into an overwhelming feeling and I in a split second could make or break whether you make it back home. Having that secondary larger round choice the real survivalist or hunter’s confidence level is at 💯. Just my thoughts and feelings with the new survival weapon line.
